My neurologist wanted to prescribe an antidepressant but my insurance denied it. I didn't want to take it anyway because it's not gonna cure me. But did it help your speech slurring and brain fog?

Sunny Staryte I think antidepressants won’t cure FND, but they can help your mood and increase your capacity to deal with symptoms. In my case, the type of medication I was on increased my physical fatigue, but helped with brain fog. I think a mix of medication, psychological therapy and physio therapy can be the best combination for treatment. Everyone is different though!

@@annieinwonderland everyone is different! Some people are able to work full time or part time. Some people aren't able to work, or they need to take time off until they finish a physiotherapy rehabilitation program.
