Thx bro. Do me a favor and check out my new “pro” channel. Thats where I’ll be posting all the equipment videos in the near future youtube.com/@GCITurfPro?si=hn7oBL_M9KADe04J
@@GCITurf thanks for the response and yes indeed I will look it up!

When Pete say's he wants his edges perfect, he ain't lyin'. So sharp you could shave with them. The heck with ocean and rain sounds to fall asleep to. I'll takes Pete's landscape engines.
The drone shot of the infield looked like a pepperoni pizza at the beginning. 😂Nice work as always Pete.
I could watch this all night
Beautiful job renovating that field 👍. As a retired Groundskeeper of 32 yrs I appreciate this. Awesome machine you have. I had a Toro Groom master the last 1.5 years I worked. I loved doing Baseball and Softball Fields. Thank you for sharing.
As a grounds keeper wouldn't you use a heavy roller on the grass edge to prevent pop ups into a players face.. It's actually standard practice..
@@BAZZAROU812-you could use water and a heavy roller if the grass edge is flat. If it rises up to a berm it, the sod needs to be cut, topsoil beneath it lowered and sod replaced to form an even transition between grass outfield and dirt infield mix
It’s weird seeing all dirt infields where I grew up in PA we had grass infields even in little league
Absolutely love your content man. I manage our girls softball fields and am envious of all the great tools you have at your disposal. It def makes the job look a lot easier! Keep up the great work!!!
Nice work Pete. Looks great. 👍These young girls are lucky to have you taking care of the field they play on.
Half a million views in just a little bit! Sure it will hit the 10M mark. The best video ever made from start to finish. I could do that every day for the rest of my life. I miss those days when I had little ones and a county that neglected the fields. I didn’t have your equipment but gladly took full days off work to prep fields for a new season. Someday when my parents pass and I don’t need their money I’m gonna buy a ball field in their names.
The craft and passion you have for landscaping is really admirable and the content is stunning!
Most those girls don't even know that effort it took. Amazing Pete!
You have to be kidding dude! 3 of them mow and edge my lawn. They, use a #2 clipper.
@@BidenIsKing 3 out of how many? 3 is not “most”.
@@seth8982 guess that joke went over your head! Clippers are for hair dude. Now try and figure it out.
@@BidenIsKing you never seen people cut lawns with clippers? Good try to flip it.
@@seth8982 you don’t know what clipper guards are? Read it again. I said a #2 clipper. As in clipper guards. Keep trying your almost there.
I am amazed!!! Thank goodness we have you sir.
You are an artist Pete, God Bless you ,your Fam, and your biz!
I don’t normally comment on videos but this is by far the most amazing transformation I’ve ever seen. 10/10 bud awesome job keep up the great work
No one on RUclips works like this man!!!!! Lee it up brother God bless
Wow!! What a machine you got there! Basically a hand controlled tractor! Sweet! And the editing was awesome!
Pete with his ABI Force. "I want you to meet my little friend."🤣
Nice work there Pete!
That was pretty cool to watch. Turned out amazing Pete! 🔥
Slick work Pete👍
Loved it! Amazing transformation!
Great video I’m gonna be edging out a baseball field tomorrow for my turf management class for college
Excellent job! Experience and equipment go hand and hand great job 👏 👍
Great looking field.
Hey Pete love the videos in general. Ive been on the lawncare landscaping industry for 13+ years. Just wanted to see at what point were you able to start doing athletic field maintenance and how did you accompany it with your other clientele? I grew up playing ball and believe thats why I love what I do so much. Hope all is well. God bless
Ahhhh Sundrop. That's the good stuff!
Yessir, very satisfying…, looks awesome..! You wield that piece of equipment around with the skill of a surgeon…
Something about a sharp edge wether it be on a big scale or small that is just so satisfying GREAT WORK !
Nice. Who knew that watching somebody else mow and grade a softball infield could be so satisfying
This is the coolest thing i have seen, i have always wondered how diamonds are kept. Thanks for sharing!!
Love the content, channel, and the work being completed on the field. Fast becoming my favorite channel!
Wow. That is some good work. Looks great.
Hey Pete. I’m a senior in high school with my own lawn care business. Would it be worth it to go to college for turf management?
Let's say I have a skid steer with a forestry mulcher and an ABI force with all the attachments in this video, how do I take it from being a forest area to a nice, finish grade like this? Cos I plan to turn the area into a landscape bed, do I have to get rid of all the tree roots after I use the mulcher?
I'm ready to go take some infield! Great job, man!!
How did you get that head on the Ego trimmer ? Is there an adapter?
Looks good Pete
thanks for the hard work. much appreicated.
👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Way cool looking.
Man always does extraordinary work. I that you share the knowledge...
There is a need for that. That's awesome.
Great job! Mesmerizing. Hey, mustard not catsup!!!!
Them edges sure are looking good! Need you healthy, maybe some broccoli or carrots in between the dogs and sun drop? 😂
Pete, after making all those turns you have got to be dizzy by now. 😉
hello friend thanks for your videos and what you share with us a question what kind of fescue do you have in your yard I like the way you have it I would like to have mine can you tell me what grass it is and how fertile I can put it and when I can plant it I am from south carolina
Satisfying lol
No line to follow? That’s impressive! 👍🏼
You’re hired!
So does the ABI help you with getting the lines correct or are you just eyeballing it? It looks wonderful. I would love to see the results of the sprigging in the outfield if it takes!
Most likely he's just eyeballing it. It's probably much easier to see where the Bermuda sod of the outfield is 𝘚𝘜𝘗𝘗𝘖𝘚𝘌𝘋 to stop, and the dirt is to start up close in person. Making it easy to simply run the blade on that already established line cutting that clean edge!
Dude I love that machine, just watching it in action is mesmerizing, I’d come work for you for free just on the chance I may get to operate it some day
You Sir, are a craftsman! 👍
thank you friend
We would also drag a piece of rolled up fence behind tractor
But we were old school
YOWZERS THAT IS NICCCCCCCE!
How deep are your edges on something like this? Can you adjust the height/depth of the edge?
Nothing like ABIForce art in the morning. Another masterpiece
Basically disc plowing lol 🇺🇸💥💪🙏
With work like this, you have the abi and the Ventrac. Can you share your preferences, limitations?
Well great, now I want that edger
Excellent
Very enjoyable
That is jam up and jelly tight
Mountain Dew and hot dogs... YES!!!!!! 🌭🌭🌭
I remember doin this years ago ( in the early '80's ) with a rake , hoe and a shovel ! Where tha heck was this thing at back then 😂
Exactly. I use a hatchet, weed hoe, rake, and a wheelbarrow. Still works like a charm
What is the weed eater attachment that you used, and what is it typically for unless it's purpose is the same that you used it for?
The guy in charge of White Sox Park in Chicago is called the Sod Father. There is an art to a properly done field.
Pete do you ever get dizzy going in circles like that lol? Or start falling asleep ? One time I fell asleep and ran through a privacy fence on a 5 acre yard I mowed . I was running on little sleep and just nodded out .
This guy's not only a landscape artist, he's also a barber and killer pizza maker.
id love to do this to some of our local fields....i need a new job where i can get paid to do this sort of stuff lol
Pete great work! Where do you recommend a person get Peet Moss? In CT I am finding it hard to find. Thanks!
Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, Landscape Supply & nursery
Good day to you Pete, Pete I purchased the biggest bag of tttf from you, put some down after dethaching and aerating, starting to sprout 🌱, my question is, how long is unused seed good for?
Forever
That look so much better and easier than running a regular sod cutter around the edges.
In my day, we did by shovel.. it was a craft back in Those days.. now everyone has a machine to do it…
You are a machine wizzard 👍
That's quite the machine
And who said you couldn't have FUN at work. Hard work pays off, doesn't matter what field your in.
I’m really impressed with the edging tool. Is that something you bought or did you build it. I have a stone driveway and I have been thinking of something like this to cut back the grass from encroaching into the stone.
Those discs are used on disc ploughs for field plowing. I would imagine some company made that using a disc.
I wished I knew where you could just buy those, I would like to make a 2 bottom plow for my garden tractor.
@@msack6904 I found a company that make a similar tool they call it a curb dresser and pictures of it cutting the grass behind a concrete curb. I’m like you would like to get just the cutter and build my own. Maybe attach it to my front end loader on my tractor
Broooooo!!!! Awesome job!!!how is that machine on gas bro? That's alot of work!!!!
it took about 4 gallons of gas to do this entire project
@@GCITurf that's great!!! I was thinking way more!!!
What camera drone are you using?
Wonder if you drug a piece of old chain link fence behind that machine if it would slick it down better wouldn't leave tire tracks?
Hopefully the school redoes the bases entirely. I would lightly compact it, then add another 40 yards of dirt/brick, then reset the base paths and circle. Even this took the field to another level, but I dream of every field being MLB quality 😂 great work man 👌
First time watcher here of your videos and I’m already hooked. Got a few questions though:
1. What kind of soil mixture is that?
2. Did you know it looks like you’re making a pizza when you spread out the dirt? Lol
3. Do you get dizzy from that many circles? Ha
That looked like a finger painting...!!!!
Should have background song of Dean Martin - That's Amore playing as you where working the new clay onto the field. Looks like your making a pizza.
Pete, how do you develop a pitchers mound? This was all pretty cool to watch!
It’s for softball. They don’t need a mound.
Certainly wasn’t a public school facility in my neck of the woods. It would be an army of girls with shovels and rakes.
Everyone just takes it for granted
Dang, I watched the whole thing! Great transformation. But didn't you see that one high spot you left....lol! Just kidding ;-)
He don't say much. Nice.
👍👍👍
I think most of us had the same thought on this one... ketchup on a hot dog?!?! Ugh.
I’ve been thinking of getting this machine. Was it worth the investment?
it most certainly was friend
It looked like you were saucing a pizza when you spread that clay 😂
That pattern you do to blend the clay in would make me so sick.
looked like finger painting
We get it, your an hourly worker.
Lmao
First!
9:33 - 10:44 when you try to wipe after taco bell shits
Can I mow Bermuda with a rotary mower?
Yes
Costco has the best hotdogs in NC
Looks like you were making a pizza around 9:36
