Surprised there was no mention of the yielding ground on the chase course. Solness, a known decent ground horse thrived again on it. Whilst horses with their best form on soft like Ile Atlantique and Gaelic Warrior didn't seem as happy. Think it played a part in a few of the performances we saw.
@Pmrace1960 I just saw the Willie Mullins interview later where he comments about the ground being very quick for Gaelic Warrior and Paul Townend told him the same.
@@retiredmonk I backed quite a few that never had a chance of winning the way the race was run/the way they were ridden, but not blaming jockey as so many other factors involved. In 2 cases my chances went at the start (after false starts).
Staying division is as weak as it’s ever been, GDC just has to stay on his feet, comes to something by when his main rivals can’t even stay over 3m. No competition whatsoever.
absolutely zero percent chance,he is pure speed with an electric turn of foot and an incredibly strong traveler, which is ever requirement needed for the Supreme This panel were hyping up the race making out there are a number of candidates, but there is no hope of anything beating Kopek Des Bordes,he is now pure banker material for the Supreme
It would be mad to step up 5f........pedigree fine but why take the chance........the donnellys have to decide which horse the want to take......townsend will ride Kopek
Where does Fact to file go......think perfectly good run.......connections have Montys for Ryanair..........nobody i talked to agreed...............good horse GC race Mc Manus wants........u r throwing ur cash away backing him for ryanair..........its horse racing he CAN BEAT galopin in gc.....
Fact or File not being ridden out at the end cost me a tenner Tricast. I believe he's Rayanair, although Elliots horse out, is second in a gold cup better than winning a Ryanair. I'm gutted because I had a £1.50 lucky 15 Sir Geno 10s Arkle Majbough ( who I had 16s for triumph) 16s for Turners Non runner, Fact or File 25s Rayanire( before he won at Cheltenham) and Irish Point 10s (vanished of the face of the earth). Also have singles and went in again a while back 14s with Fact or File. Sea of Sand 40s county if he targets that race he will go of fav. I'm still not given up on Mundi going that route, daft, I know, but it's just a feeling I have.

time beat the standard so the ground was good at worst

What about the ride on galliec warrior
Doesn't like that course and needs soft/heavy over 2 miles. Was totally outpaced for most of race.
Gerri colonge is out for the season
thought the only one to give GDC a race...shame
The rides on Queens Gamble and Meetingofthewaters..
Any views.
Queens Gamble ran well and Meetingofthewaters looked out of place in a hurdles race
Both rides gave no assistance to the horses. That's what the jockey is for

I disagree, with Walsh, we learned a lot today.
1) we learned horse racing is bent and,
2) Why the sport is dying
If you feel this way, don't be involved in the sport and why are you even in the comments on a racing video if you have those sentiments?

gerri colombe out makes it even weaker
Has Kopek Des Bordes got any chance of running in the Turners?
Minimal. I’m also on for turners so ggs 🪦

Not for me, would win either but looks a supreme horse
Jane has the worst takes ever..
thought she was ok
@@Pmrace1960 Agreed. Not sure what she did wrong?
