Hey, thanks a lot, brother That has helped me quite a bit Hope you get over your cold quickly Say hello to the wife and I am so proud of you guys for being a family I start orientation in one week and I’m looking forward and you’ve helped me quite a bit Michael
Switch to CCA and work towards a regular routes. I was 44 yrs when I started, going to do 20 total. I'm a Christian and enjoy the job. I'm an LLV trainer (and regular city carrier) and I enjoy that as well. Don't get caught up in the politics, shop stuff and bad supervisors. Stay encouraged.
What do you mean by don’t up in politics ? Please explain Does CCA have a regular route ? What is the advantage if being CCA? I heard RCA get hired as full time right away
The allowance for uniforms seems like a lot of money but it’s not for the entire year! Literally like 1 pair of pants is about 50 bucks so do the math if you’re given 400 it’s like 3 pants 3 shirts for the ENTIRE year 🤣🤣
Glad I found your channel. I start orientation on the 3rd. Can you make a video that breaks down understanding your paycheck? I’ve been reading a lot about how supervisors don’t always report time/mileage correctly. So some tips on keep track would be helpful.
"are you giving them special treatment because they gave you a gift?" Hell yes, because they are being a nice human being. 🤷♂️ But interesting to hear about all the gifts from customers as a carrier. I'll guess I'll hear about all that in a week
I start Monday(12/13) I have to do zoom orientation the first day, and then the next two days will be in person. It took me about 2 months in total to get on. I’m excited, but a little nervous at the same time
hey thanks for the help! hey I put im on the offer part of the process n Im realizing I just have a hatchback w bucket seats for my vehicle. should I even bother continuing the process? 🙏
do you have to pass an exam to officially get the job for RCA? i have got my job offer and accepted it, did the fingerprints and the driving record check.
It's NOT gonna be a good idea lol I'm telling you know. We got girls at the job sometimes bring their kids to the office (this doesn't fly everywhere lol)
@@benjaminwilson3498 daaaamn cool thank you. I paid more attention to the postman schedule in my neighborhood. Oh heck no I'd still be at work during critical times
I start orientation on 28 Feb - 2 Mar. I am a little nervous. And my question is Orientation, shadow day, Academy are continue or I have to wait for email everytime?
How did it go? I start orientation 7 Mar - 9 Mar. I'm super nervous, as I have been a stay at home mom for the past 5 years and just now getting back out there. I also suck at parallel parking so I'm nervous for the driving test as well. 😬
Very great advice and I appreciate the information man. Orientation in two weeks. Thanks!
How’s everything going? 🙏🏽

So now that you been in it for a while do you find it as easy and simple to request days off?
My office has a long list of subs. So nothing too major. Election season is when it will be tough to get off though.
I will revolutionize the mail industry
Was all the orientation and training back to back ..... "Paycheck Wise". I start tomorrow "orientation"

You have adorable children
Hey how many people were in your classroom? How long did it take you to get an orientation email/letter ??
That’s a good question, I just got the call about orientation, but haven’t gotten my email about the details yet.
There were 10 of us. 2-3 months to get the orientation email

How do the post office know if you go to a co worker wedding, bithday celebration, etc... And buy them a gift. Do you mean on work hours only?
Don’t forget there’s always someone watching you. Stay on your toes 💪🏽
What should I expect on my shadow day? I was told I have to follow due to Covid
I have my orientation Monday, what kind of shoes and what to wear for orientation?
Thanks man for the tips I have orientation coming this month.

How many hours you get as RCA?
I have a fingerprint & processing scheduled for next Wednesday at 730am, is this a good sign? What’s next after that -
After that will be processing. Which they’ll do the new hire paperwork
Yeah. It takes about a week to 2 weeks for you to here back.
If you get a prehire then what's next. I hear you do two backround checks and fingerprinting but it can take months to hear back.
Can we bring in a backpack to orientation?
How long us orientation as far as hours? I have little ones and wondering if accepting the job will be a good idea. I have after-school pick ups to do
