FYI old singers also sang with special effects as far back as late 30's. Please note Auto tuner does not make a bad singer sound good , Auto tuner makes a good singer sound better.

Real Singers are Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, KK, Shan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Roop Kumar Rathod etc etc. who can eqaully sing live beautifully without special effects since they are thoroughly trained in music.
