I used to play harmonium and sing while dada(fellow old villager) would play dholak and uncle would play tabla and rest will play jhal-manjheera (my villagers). Mehfil and hari-kirtan were my jam. But then i had to leave for studies and people got busy with their life.
Phenomenal performance...makes me reminisce the late Nusrat Saab and.... Pankaj Tripathi.. I love him first as an awesome human being and a real underrated actor which I see changing... more power to him. A ghazal performance on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi... Splendid example of neighborly love in the current regime of politically created hate.

It's nice to have Mukesh Tiwari and Pankaj Tripathi here, enjoying themselves. I'm a huge fan of Mukesh Tiwari and Yashpal Sharma they are not given the due recognitstion . They've delivered some truly memorable performances on screen, leaving a lasting impact in many movies. On a different note, the tabla player seems to struggle with producing the rhythm, while the singer's performance is somewhat lacking, despite receiving praise on Indian Idol.
My closest colleague and myself, this was our favourite song. Sadly he’s passed away 😢. We are so happy that your song added to our connection. In case you ever sing this song, just for a moment which can be lesser than a second, just remember Santosh please. I’m not sure when you’ll see this. Whenever you see this, you need to know that you have done amazing performances, concerts, etc. But Creating beautiful memories between two closest buddies is a miracle and thanks to you. You shall get famous as you deserve, are capable and have the art. The biggest achievement you have in my opinion is to create memories for generations between people. Thank you so much. Honestly, can’t even thank you enough. No monetary remuneration will ever be able to give you the goodness. God shall always bless you and may you achieve leaps and bounds. You are a noble soul, I hope you know that, God bless you.

This tabla accompaniment is very special. I'm from UP and when we were young, we used to do these mehfils ... elevates our lives.
