Rafi and Udit have clear and open voice and the emotions come naturally in their voice. They seem effortless - more than Kishore kumar. Mukesh was an ok singer, I like many of his songs but not particularly his singing. Manna Day, Hemant Kumar and Mahendra Kapoor were more natural than him.
More than anything else, I am in awe of Anup Jalota’s command on harmonium , this many plays any new song like he has played in a thousand time . In another video, I saw him accompanying Shailendra Singh, singing Mai shayar to nahi . He played it to perfection. What a man !!

If i had the fortune to be in a room with these two amazing artists and they were performing, i would be soaking in everything and trying to be in the moment and maximise my enjoyment. i would certainly not be doing noise pollution with wah wah etc, and not be distracted trying to take a third class recording which i would never see again.
