Wayne, 1. Take it for what it's worth, but after 40 years of being a musician, Brother you are a gifted teacher, truly blessed. 2. You burn it up..just awesome.

Wayne this is so amazing. I am slowly working through all your videos and I love that they build knowledge, theory and technique. Rather than just memorizing a lick or a tune you are teaching how to play the mandolin so that we can create our own breaks and ideas. It's the difference between paint by numbers or having a pallet and creating your own picture.

Thx for those kind words. I use paypal some with a few of my overseas Skype students. I look at Wayne's World of Mandolin as a way to give something to the mandolin community and I'm glad you enjoy the content.......

And you just played the seven modes of the diatonic scale. Thank you so much for making that clear for me. Awesome. Btw, that was exciting not boring.

I watch the video numerous times but still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. Theory sort of boggles my mind. Maybe at some point it will make sense! Thanks Wayne for the great instructional videos.

Sometimes it feels that way and then you have a breakthrough. Keep an eye out for an up coming video called A scale Inside a Scale. It will be a great companion for this World of Color selection. Thx for the comment and good luck!
