Looks like fun Will. Your club seems a lot more active than my club here in South Aus. Saying that, they have their fair share of black tie dinners and track days. I don't own a black tie and I'm not keen to participate in track days so I'm still finding my niche. Originally when I bought my Boxster, I was going to track my car. I went out to an event north of Adelaide and when I saw the guys (and girls) wringing the necks off their beasties I realized it wasn't for me. The thought of leaving my Pilot sports smeared across the track not to mention wear and tear was just too much. So, for now, nice cruises such as the one you attended and the occasional squirt when nobody is looking will have to do.
Hi Shaun Thanks for watching. Im in the same mindset as you. The thought of tracking my car is a bit intimidating, especialy after one engine rebuild. These drives out are perfect and hopefully soon I'll be going on longer trips. Maybe ill take it on track one day.
I was in sennybridge Brecon, sometime in October, and a large group of Porche owners drove through the village. I guessed it must have been a club event. At the time i was having a pint at the Usk and Railway and watched them all pass through.
I know the club did do a trip over that way recently. I wasnt there but hopefully I will go along to one. Must have been a nice veiw while having a drink. :)
@coolkid123456100 Yes, mostly Boxters/caymans, I'd say around 8-10 cars. I'd driven up that day in my 987 spyder, a bit cold and overcast first thing, but then the sun came out. Sunday driving back was beautiful.
The side strips, when you find out where the club can get them will you let me know please? They will obviously know the proper ones. Great vid, I live in west Wales unfortunately hardly anyone round here seems to have a Porsche so I’m not sure joining the club would be a great idea!
Thanks for watching Jeff i will check out some places. Im sure a video will come on some cosmetic additions to the boxster. On the Porsche Club GB website they may have some wales events. Im not sure though

Yes, not many Porsches in wales! We’ve used a company called graffikwerks for our Porsche decals for the past couple of years.
@@harrywheeler1 thanks for the information. Lack of Porsches this side of Wales?…..just the way it is I suppose 🤔
