Windjana Gorge / Tunnel Creek, one of the best places to visit on the Gibb River Road

  • We visited Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek off the Gibb River Road, and through careful timing and good luck, did a series of fantastic photo shoots.
    Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park is one of the Kimberley’s most stunning gorges, with water-streaked walls that rise majestically to heights of 100m and hundreds of freshwater crocodiles bask in the pools, while fruit bats and corellas roost in the waterside trees.
    Tunnel Creek (Dimalurru) flows through a water worn tunnel in the limestone of the Napier Range, part of the 350 million year old Balili (Devonian Reef) system. The track runs underground for 750m and we had to wade through several pools and return the same way. At least five species of bats live in the cave, including ghost bats and fruit bats, and stalactites descend from the roof in many places. The roof has collapsed through to the top of the range near the centre of the tunnel, and it was a place we got to do some magic photos.
    The proper photos will be on my Onlyfans page

    Seriously one of the best videos I’ve had the pleasure of watching!!! I’ve commented before you two have a unbelievable ability to capture pure beauty. It was always a dream of mine to visit your beautiful country. Wanted to rent a house and spend time on all the coastline as possible.. I hope this pandemic clears up so folks as myself can continue with life long plans.. as always looking forward to your next eye full. Tc from Nevada

    Thanks very much for another incredible view of a piece of Australia! You folks have completely changed my view of this country and what it has to offer! I am a reasonable knowledgeable man from the US and to be honest I thought Australia was pretty much all desert and ocean shore line and completely filled with jelly fish and poison snakes that will kill you in seconds not to mention the salt water crocs the size of a car. Bear in mind this is obviously and ignorant American talking, you folks have shown aspects of this country that I had not a clue existed and some of the most beautiful areas likely in the world, I am impressed beyond words!! Thanks you for expanding my knowledge 200% and opening my eyes to the fact that its not all bleak and sand mixed with deadly animals! You guys do an amazing job of filming and documenting what you show us absolutely TOP SHELF all the way! Thanks YOU BOTH for opening my eyes!

    • @UnimogAdventures
      @UnimogAdventures  3 года назад

      Australia has so much to offer, but its not that easy to get to. Lots of things will try an kill you, but they are easy to avoid once you know what to look for ( except for the dropbears) The distances between places are vast so you have to be prepared to travel a long way, 200-300km is just a short trip in the Outback.

      @@UnimogAdventures I dont know what a dropbear is but it sounds unpleasant!!! I live in North Dakota in the US and people look at our state in the same manner as you describe Australia we are primarily an agricultural state VERY FLAT till you get to the wester part then there are lots of buttes and gulley's and yes there is a lot of mileage involved with living here the entire population of our state is around 500K and since that what I grew up in it seems I have an aversion to crowds! I went to school in NY and it was very odd in that the crowds didnt seem to bother me till I got back home and I realized just how much adjustment in my mindset was needed to stay in NY, I did it but was sure glad to get out of there!
