Love this episode.
We were not able to do the Gibb last time we were up that area as we had a dog with us. However we did get held up in Broome for car repairs and our then 3 yr old was fascinated by the camel train that went past the caravan park each day. Our goal is to get back to do the Gibb but that will be without the dog.
Thanks Joanne! Oh, how cute I can imagine that would have been a real highlight for your little one, certainly not something you see everyday 😁 Hope you are able to get back and do the Gibb one day, it certainly is a spectacular journey. Thanks for watching 🧡
We did the Gibb River Road from west to east in 2021 and each one of your episodes has brought back so many fond memories of that trip. Thank you.
Your welcome, thanks for watching Graeme. Such a fantastic journey to do isn't it. Magnificent part of Australia.
Loving your series just so relaxing and interesting to watch your adventures.
Thank you so much mate! We really appreciate you watching and glad you are enjoying the series 😁
Wow I love your adventures another exciting video 📹 😊
Thanks Myra 🧡
Stunning scenery 😍
I just love your videos 💕👍🏽
Thank you ❤️ the scenery in the Kimberley's is just something else isn't it! 😍
Another awesome episode! Thanks for sharing guys, the scenery is just beautiful 😍
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it! Yes the scenery is so beautiful!!
The scenery is just beautiful great Carera work with the drone , we did the Gibb 4 years ago and just loved it, thanks for sharing your travels .
The scenery is so beautiful up in the Kimberley region isn't it! How lucky are we to have these places to explore in our own country. Thanks for watching Terry 😁
Thanks for the memories having done the Gibb in 2012 ,west to east ……….no free camps , not too many people , did not need to swim Tunnel although certainly plenty of water and no boulders at the entrance . Weather eg cyclones have such an massive influence on the Gibb . We think we may drive it again next year , east to west as part of our lap from Perth to Perth . And enjoy my favourite beer , Matso Mango Beer when you get to Broome .
Thank you for watching Fleur! Really sounds like the Gibb has changed so much, would be interesting to see if you enjoy it as much the second time, given it is a lot busier? Regardless I guess it is still magnificent scenery 😍 Matso mango is the best isn't it! 🍻🍻
Wow tunnel creek was amazing 😳 soooo lucky! Safe travels see you on the next episode 🦘🪃🇦🇺🙌🏻
Thanks mate, we appreciate you watching 🍻 Tunnel Creek was amazing, creepy, but amazing 😁
Lining up for hours! It wasn't like that when we did the Gibb a couple of times back in the 90s!
It certainly has gained popularity over the years. Would have been awesome to do it when it wasn't quite so busy.
So many caravans and people. I'm a bit shocked by how popular a trip down the GRR has become. Understandable really. It's a magic bit of country. Pleased to see everyone is well and still enjoying the trip. My take away from this great episode is to plan for the unexpected.
Yes it certainly is the place to be! Would have been amazing to experience it like you did, with not a lot of people. But totally understandable why so many people want to take the journey, such beautiful countryside. Yes unfortunately things don't always go to plan, but all part of the adventure right 😁 Thanks for watching mate!
How fabulous!! Loved that vid!! Have been to Tunnel creek but not walked through the water, there were lots of crocs when we were there, I know they’re only freshies but there were lots of them 🐊 🐊 🐊 🐊 🐊 🐊
Thank you Bev! Tunnel Creek is beautiful isn't it. So glad we didn't see any freshies! Not sure we would have gone through the water if we had 🤣 thanks for watching 😁
Congrats on finishing the Gibb 👏👏, what an incredible adventure that’s given you so many memories and stories to tell for years to come. How epic is the magic Kimberley and so different from one end to the other. There are definitely freshies in Tunnel Creek, I’ve done it twice and seen them both times 😂. Looking forward to the next episode, I love love Broome and it’s surrounding areas, and the Dampier Penninsula is stunning.
Thanks Robyn! There was a point where we didn't think we were going to get to do it, but so glad we were able too. What an experience! The Kimberley region is just spectacular 😍 Very glad we didn't see any of the freshies as I may of lost my nerve to do the swim 😂 it was creepy enough without seeing them let alone knowing for sure one was in the water with you! Yep Broome and the Dampier Peninsula are more incredible places. How lucky are we to have these sorts of places to visit, right in our country!
"Ridiculous"???? If it wasn't for the presence of the kids, I might have thought you were on your way to one of those hedonistic party's that the northern suburbs are famed for 🤣😂🤪 ............ almost as ridiculous looking as those rock tamers which are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike 😄
Great video as usual, awesome music choice, just keeps gettin' better and betterer. Thanks for sharing.
Bahahaha 😂😂 best comment ever!! Thanks for watching mate 🍻
Another nice video guys. Well done. We gave the Gibb a miss on our lap but will have to get up there to check it out.
Definitely check it out, such a great region of Australia 🧡
Congrats on funishing the Gibb guys 👏👏 youve had your struggles along the way but look at the amazing memories youve gottan from it all
Thank you! Yep was totally worth the struggles, so many great memories made 🧡
Hint for Miranda
To make perfect rice.
Put rice into cold water
Bring to the boil. Put on and turn off the heat.
Rice will cook without sticking. You may need to rinse the rice either before or after cooking but we like the texture of not rinsing it.
Thanks for the tip! I will definitely try that next time as I just can't manage to cook it on the stove. I'm too use to the rice cooker doing all the work for me 😂
Just re read what I wrote
You need to put the lid on the pot when it's at a rapid boil and turn off the heat.
@joanneday7518 thanks Joanne!!
Well done guys, how good is the Mango beer
Thanks Mark. It is so good hey 🍻🍻
Tunnel Creek would never feature on my to do list! I don’t do caves of any description and swimming through freezing cold water in the dark would be the death of me!! Well done to you all for making it there and back alive!
🤣🤣 yep absolutely understand that Sally! It wad pretty creepy but worth it in the end 😊 thanks for watching 🧡
Another awesome episode guys. Living it through your eyes is just as relaxing although i had a beverage in my hand unlike you until the end of your trip😂😂 Enjoy the wine Miranda.
Thanks Lee! I sure did enjoy the wine 😂🥂🥂
Where is the lady's accent from? Something crossed with Australian
@newzealandearthmover4008 I was born in the USA, have been in Australia a LONG time but just haven't been able to lose the last bit of the accent 😂
