    I love it the in your face statements, a true professional.
    I know cheap tools as a finish carpenter, started off with black and decker, the circular saw was under powered and could not cut a straight line no matter, kicked back even. the drills didn't even last a year.
    I bought DeWalt the saw is far and away better, still own it nealry 25 years later.
    like optics and audio you get what you pay for. Milwaukee, Makita and Bosch are for the pros, Hilti and Festool are for the experts

    I just bought 2 sets from Rockler and they were my first parallel clamps also first bessey clamps and I was impressed. I'm building a kitchen table so I bought the extenders that same purpose and it really helped me out but I flipped the ends where the longer part was hanging down off both ends of my work surface to help keep my clamps and table top from accidentally falling like they did with bar clamps. Plus it give you a little extra clamping room. It's something that helped me anyways.

    Thank you for the video. Two additional things that I do with my clamps is to reverse the bottom jaw and use it to push out like a reverse clamp, and also to stretch things out such as stretching out bandsaw tires.

    I have a bunch of KRE Bessey clamps in different sizes. Now, after the major purchases of what I needed, I buy at least one clamp a month. I have ended up with a nice collection. I continue to buy one a month from 12" up in incremental sizes. I love them. I wax the bars as soon as I get them too.

    • @NWGR
      @NWGR 2 года назад +2

      I just started my bessey kre collection as well, and that's how you do it; over time and not all at once. Instead of one, I spring for a couple a month since I prefer buying in pairs. The collection grows decently fast. I wax the bars too.

    Nice vid. I have a few . To top it off you can remove the screw end like you did and reverse it to make a spreader bar instead of a clamp. Also, the black caps come off if you need to wash the glue off. Might even be replaceable. Keep ‘em coming.

    Just bought a set of six from Rockler which were on sale. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but look forward to it. Fixing to order the body extender as I have had to jury rig a couple of clamps together before and it was a hassle to do and didn't always turn out like I needed it to. Very informative video, thanks.

    I love the Bessey clamps. A few weeks ago I found a 4pack on sale for $199, then of course last night I found a 6 pack for $189, as well as a free shipping coupon, so you know I HAD to buy them. I haven't even used the ones I bought last month. By far the very best clamps out there.

  • @kennedymcgovern5413
    @kennedymcgovern5413 Год назад

    Man, you can't hide money.
    These clamps seem well worth what they cost. And brother, I am a graduate of the "buy once cry once" school of buying shit. I learned the hard way, during my younger years and so every power tool I have, here in my 50s, is black and yellow.
    But DeWalt tool boxes? When it comes to something that sits against a wall and is only responsible for having drawers slide in and out...I have to admit...my versions of those read "Husky." The only way my toolboxes will ever be black and yellow is if I paint them (which...aint out of the realm...).
    We all reach the point where we have DeWalt tools. But brother, when you reach the point where you have them in DeWalt tool BOXES...that's country club redneck shit right there. I just ain't playin' on your level, Clint. Haha...the clamps look good. I may buy those. But when it comes to bigger stuff...I may have to send you a completed loan application!
