Just found this. Going to start doing it. Least steps, not grip dependent. Thank you!

Interesting method. I'll have to try it next time I'm at work. Thanks for sharing.

Or you just grab the middle loop and nozzle and let the hose fall off your shoulder. Do this at least 25 feet from the door and then just walk the nozzle and coupling up. It will flake itself out and you’ve wasted no time by walking the hose backwards. Most importantly, you don’t set the nozzle down and give somebody a chance to snag it😂.

Will have to give it a try. True about the nozzle but around my area there ain’t nobody nearby to grab the nozzle, there are several minutes in between company arrivals.

And what about non setback properties where the front door is 5 feet or less from the sidewalk? That is exactly what this is for. If you knew what a V split deployment was and why its used you would know this lol

If this is the case in your area, lookup bulk loads. Preconnects are will always be limiting in length, either to close or to far

@@jaredrobinson390I’m aware of the v-split. It really doesn’t save you much distance. If the door is only 5 feet from the sidewalk, I’ll just “run a route” away from the door and then straight back to it to eat up hose. And with this combat ready hose we use, it’s fine if there’s a loop or two that doesn’t flake out. It’s gonna sort itself as soon as it gets water. But that’s just my preference.
