OMG, I laughed when you were talking about the book We Used To Live Here & you said you had to take it out of your room, that it was scary. Made me think of an episode of FRIENDS, the character Joey when he gets scared reading a book, I believe The Shining, he puts it in the freezer to feel safer.😂 I know your reasoning may or may not have been the same on why you moved the book. I don't know if you moved it just to get yourself to stop reading for the night or you were scared, but it still made me laugh.
🤣🤣🤣nope. I moved it because I am in fact, Joey! Lol, I remember that episode and I just laughed out loud.
I literally got so scared and it was like 1030 at night and I got out of bed to put the rest of my books so that it wasn’t sitting next to me🤣🤣🤣
Love this video! I recently read a good spooky book that had me afraid to go to the bathroom at night. It’s ‘the haunting of ashburn house’ by Darcy Coates. Loved it. She writes isolation so well.

I've been so tempted to read The Troop but I'm a little freaked out by some of the reviews I've heard, let us know how you liked it. The casserole looks great and last time I made enchiladas it was such a mess with all the warming tortillas and filling them individually, I need to try that recipe.
So I haven’t finished it yet. It is INTENSE and gross 🤣 let me warn you. Like it sticks with you. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Omg The Troop!! That is my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE horror book!! I literally measure ALL horror books against it! It is SO GOOD!! I went to Chapters last weekend to get some new horror novels, & I asked the girl if she had read it & she immediately replied “Oh my god that was SO GOOD!!”😂 So she gave me some, hopefully really good, recommendations!
If you like zombie books I HIGHLY recommend “Whimsical Outbreak” by Kat Chartier! It’s my second favourite horror book! Plus she’s an independent author!
