Wow, great curls. We used to call those banana curls when I was a kid and as a person with super straight hair, I would have loved those. I used to sleep in those old pink foam rollers every night for the better part of the 80’s lol. You look great with curls. I bet you could get away with showering in the morning and letting them set for a couple hours if you were going out in the afternoon/evening.
Omg I know those pink rollers!! My mom had them when I was little!! I love curls!! 😁😁 and yesssss I could probably do that, would be much easier than sleeping in them 🤣🤣 I could even blow dry them a bit to make sure they’re dry! 😊
Hey Becca. It is definitely a two person job to get the full effect. You can also get a Pic instead of brushing your hair or combing. They did come out cute. In the back it was alittle off but not by much. If you have a friend to help, the curls would start more up on the hair. All in all it did come out cute. Thank you for sharing🥰❤❣
Hopefully when I try again I can get the back tighter by myself. I think it was because I was pulling my hair forward instead of reaching to the back of my head and it made them way too far down lol. But practice makes perfect right! 😁😁 but the curlers definitely work and well so I definitely feel like they were a good investment!! 😁😁
Just like anything else. The more you use this curl system. The easier/quicker it will get. Someday I think you benefit from a good Keratin treatment. It has helped my color-treated, combo textured hair alot. With treatment I've seriously cut down on the blow drying time/heat. Your a beauty of curls.🤗 I admire the ways you go about saving expense. Hair these days done by a professional can cost one some coin. I'm all about saving that coin.😂 Well done!❤️👍👍
Exactly! And I need should try a keratin treatment. I use a leave in after every time I wash my hair that’s been helping, it’s called It’s a 10. But yeah cutting out the heat has definitely helped as well, I don’t even blow dry my hair anymore. But I definitely need to bleach my roots soon!!!

It’s 26 curlers, not 48? The item page and the number in the bag is 26 ☺️ Can you make a stick thing out of a wire coat hanger maybe? Unbend it and shape it straight with a hook on the end? They look cute “poofy”! Just shake them out a bit, maybe some hairspray - the volume is cute! If anything, I’d make your front pieces very voluminous and tousled looking. I’ve seen a bunch of people use the wave ones, but I think these curls are so much prettier! The waves just look like overnight braid waves, nothing special.
It’s 30, when I went back to the listing I noticed it said 30 🤣 I dunno why I was thinking 48 but that explains why I started running out towards then end haha. I’m not sure if that would work but I was able to get the broken piece out so I’ll probably just need to use the shorter version for a little while or super glue the middle piece back on which might be easier. I looked on Amazon and I couldn’t find the long stick by itself, just the shorter one. Once the day went on, the curls calmed down and weren’t so poofy haha but I definitely need hairspray the next time cuz the front curls came out super fast, probably because I kept tucking my hair behind my ear lol. Yeah after looking at the picture reviews on the wave ones, that’s not the style I’m going for, it looks like a larger version of crimping 🤣
It may look like I have normal hair, but I don’t. I don’t have coarse or frizzy hair but it is thick in the sense of I have a lot of it. You don’t notice it as much with the side of my head shaved and I’ve lost pretty much a whole layer to hear damage but trust me, when the other side of hair is grown out, it’s overwhelming, which is one of the reasons why I kept the side shave. Used to take me forever to even just blow dry it, curling would take me over an hour.
