I use to work for First Student *Madison County, MS* When First Student had the contract for Madison County Schools, we had the oldest buses in the First Student fleet.
I actually do know the engine as a matter of fact as I am a Ford F series owner myself. That bus has the 7.3 Godzilla V8. Which is the same V8 engine that Ford is using in the F250 and the F350 Super Duty. They came out with that engine for the 2020 model year and started using them in the E series for the 2021 model year
Love it, considering I ride a 2023 Ford Type-A as well (but mine's a G5 MFSAB). We also have a 2018 Chevy Minotour MFSAB, and this bus reminds me of both! EDIT: Also "300k miles"
I like how the bus number is on the opposite side license place area. It looks way better and will be illuminated at night. Around me all the buses have it on the emergency doors
No you are are actually correct. I can confirm that it does have the 7.3 Godzilla V8. They started using it for the 2021 model year E series cutaways. This engine came out for the 2020 model year F series Super Duty trucks. I know this since my personal vehicle is a 2020 F150 and I happen to be a Ford guy as well.
Nice video! I discovered your channel today and immediately subbed. I also got 2 questions: 1. How are you allowed to enter the bus yard? 2. Do you work with any school bus companies?
“Typical Thomas though” - so true. I’ve always liked these Ford cutaways like this, great video!
Yess, thomas = no comfort
I see a motion.

Nice Thomas Minotaur We Haven't Had Any Thomas Minotaur Since 2006 From First Student
Feel like school Buses need a 12 inch touch screen.
No they don’t 💀
This one certainly seems to need a tablet for something

Beautifully speced!
Indeed it is!
Love this Thomas! The drivers area looks very comfortable. If I was a transportation director, I would buy one of these for sure.

Awesome Ethan! I love the Ford Thomas Minotours! I don’t see them that much often anymore as I still see some Ford Collins School Buses
My School District Had Some Early 2000s Ford Collins With The 6.0 Powerstroke
Great video! I have always loved the thomas minitours. That is a beautifully specd bus!
Thank you for your kind words!
@@EthanLive you're welcome.
Your doing 02intlbluebird and I love it please do more. Tours with Startups are nice.

That CCM speaker is loud lol
Nice spec bus!
Thanks Stevie
Hi
I don't know much about School bus's but that's a pretty awesome looking bus I love the video By the way!
Thank you for your kind words, Hope you subscribe and stick around for more School Bus Content
The Master Alarm Unit makes all the beeps then sends that signal over to the Speaker so it knows what to say. Pretty genius system.
That’s the 4th gen ford chassis

That Ford school bus looks fresh!
Thanks for watching!
@@EthanLive No problem!
I believe the Ford school bus has a Godzilla motor in it. I may be wrong though

we don't have fords in First Student Lawrence KS
I never seen a ford used as a real school bus its kinda cool
Not using 6.0L Powerstroke at all
Yes it is a gasoline bus
And This Bus Has The 7.3 Godzilla Engine Just Like The Gasoline Powered And Propane Powered Bluebird Vision
And the F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks. That makes sense for people who don't want the 6.7 Powerstroke

Can you do a drive on one of the Chevy ones
Hey Ethan if you could do a video on the Chevy minotour that would be awesome!!
7:52
They might get one for The School District Of Philadelphia.
Will the Minotour have EV versions soon?
What does EV mean
@@EthanLive Electric Vehicle
@@rmatt24 idk
they have Chevys
How the heck did you find that
I bet this bus has the same engine as the 2022 to present gasoline visions
Pretty funny if you think about it
Same thing with the V10 prior to 2021, which tbf is probably a crazy idea if you consider that a V10 is usually found in supercars
The fords are way better than Chevy and looks far better.
You mean GM? Yah
So what's the reason behind the blacked out hood, grill, and bumper?
Coool
I think this has a v10 according to the Ford website. Although sometimes they have a V8.
Thank you!
I call this engine name "Godzilla" which is a 7.3 V8.
The ford's have the 7.3 godzilla
