Tonight I put this song on for the first time. My family moved into my childhood house after my dad passed away, and listened to this song in the sunroom where my dad spent most of his time. I couldn't help but picture my dad sitting in his chair listening to this masterpiece with me. It brought back lots of great memories with my dad, especially during the build-up. Haven't cried like that in a long time. Thank you for creating this album, but especially this song.
Just taking a bus tour in *Iceland* with my headphones on. Watching the *beautiful landscape* by listening to that *masterpiece* is unbelieveable. The last 5 minutes made me cry.
Return to Sender is absolutely my favorite song in the whole album. Thomas Bergersen has outdone himself again. (why am I not surprised) To me, "seven" is like telling story of a life, with "deliverance" as birth, then later we have adventures, love, loss, and finally, "return to sender" is about death. But Thomas didn't make death tragic. The soul leaves the mortal body and travel through the vastness of the universe, where it originated from. It relives all the moments of its (formal) life, and finally, finds peace. The last minutes of this piece reminisce the beginning of "deliverance". The cycle is once again repeated. The soul has lived it all, given it all, and now is ready to begin anew. And, thank you so much for including the silence at the end of the piece. I really need it... to breathe.
The whole piece is outstanding but the build-up that starts at 6:45 can't be described in words- one feels immense elation and happiness as if there is some glad tidings conveyed by the music.

Oh how I could lose my soul to music. Thomas Bergersen, you don’t know how much you’ve blessed my life. I drift away and lose myself in the sweeping, beautiful peace you’ve created. Without music, I would be nothing. No passion. No fire. I need it to live. I need it to thrive. I may not sing or play an instrument, but music fuels me. It is my dreams. It conveys all my hope. It knows me better than even people do, connecting with me on deeper levels than people ever have, revealing to me answers I could never find on my own.
Bought this album when it was released after hearing "Eyes Wider." Had NO IDEA that *this* song would absolutely captivate my heart! 💘 That dip at 2:39 gives me chills every time I listen to it. But then that climactic build at 4:30 builds *real* anticipation and has that crowning moment where it releases adrenaline.
My tears fell down my face as I heard this on the broadcast the first time. The fictional character that he had been imagining through the other movements, would finally have to face death, however, never expect to hear the beauty of the second half of the track. It almost seems like a transition to a new life
For the first time - after listening to this song for several times - I have the feeling that I really understood the deep love in this song. Unlimited love and tenderness how it could never be described in words. Such an universal power from beyond the boundaries of a limited mind. It really brakes the border to eternity.
For those of you who don’t know, there is a woman whispering something at the end of the song. To me, it sounds like “She’s trying to say something.” Also, this is the last song I heard with my Grandmother before I found he dead in her apartment on thanksgiving. So Return To Sender is an emotional song to me. Makes what I hear absolutely unique to me.
Yes, this is a masterpiece! I also dropped a tear hearing this ... I just imagined the beautiful carrier pigeon, who was sent on a long journey and had a difficult journey back ... there were so many obstacles ...
What is this? Why.... am i crying? I feel like something is opening my heart to forgive, to let go all the pain, to be one with my inner self, to hug myself. I 'm crying, i feel happiness and joy. My anxiety and depression go away with every universe you bring to me through your music, i forget all that gives me pain, now i hug everything i am, loving all my imperfections, i feel everything. Thank you, If you ever read this, thank you. Really, thank you .
This is so epic! 7:00 melody from 'Deliverance'. Everything is coming back, like a life story... Melody is coming back in 8:28. AMAZING PIECE IN 9:30-10:55!!! And then 10:55-11:54... I believe this is one of the best songs Thomas ever wrote!
Truly Beautiful. A song for the ages full of inspiration and heart that evokes the longing for connection and the hope found only in truth and love - a personal level of transparency that cannot hide its desire for the best in ourselves and in those we cherish. Thank you to Thomas Bergersen for this inspired work
There are no words for this masterpiece. Thank you Thomas for your amazing work. I've been following TSFH for almost five years now and this music touches me every time I listen to it. Can't wait to see Thomas and Nick performing live, although the concerts have been postponed due to Covid19. So we have to listen to this beautiful synphony and Thomas' upcoming masterwork Humanity (4 hours of music!!) until the concerts...
This is beautiful. Soft, warm- gentle melodies infused with promise, hope and life- the first 3 minutes or so, until the music becomes more forceful- allowing me to wonder whether it is reaching for something perhaps? A View or revelation?Later...it winds down again... Standing at the point of transcendance- hesitantly exploring- weaving-knowing-understanding. Yes, this is amazing. Message received and all that hope, happiness and yearning... return to sender.
Music is one of the highest forms of art. There is something in it that makes it so good. Paintings and sculptures are all good, don't get me wrong. But it's something else when you can't see it. When you have to experience it. Thanks Thomas.
The way all the other themes of SEVEN blend together to create such a magnificent and astonishingly beautiful piece of music is undescribable! It feels like flying high above the clouds or diving through a coral rief or discovering a land filled with all of the most wonderful magic or finally fullfilling a wish, a desire one had held since the beginning of time or like gifting peace to a planet divided by hate, anger, fear and misunderstanding! Every time I listen to a piece of music by Thomas Bergersen I am inspired to write on one of my stories that is about all of that and if I were to close my eyes right now, a million strands of stories untold would be enlightend by this music alone. I listen in awe as worlds spring to live before my very eyes, characters, places, past, present and future of legends unknown by anyone but (so far) me! If I ever finish this story and I have the joy of making a film of it, this is the music I am going to use!

Hey, how can I find all your incredible work? I remember reading your stories in the comments section and falling in love with your world building genius.
I have no idea how I found this I was looking at frequencies and then this popped up and next thing you know I’m tearing up at the end through this beautiful roller coaster of a song. It’s like it made me find my way back to my inner self and inner child, and I ended up asking “Why don’t I appreciate myself more?” “Don’t you see how amazing you truly are?” this was my experience.
Maybe I'm crazy but I find this the absolute most touching, inspiring and awakening piece of music I've ever heard, even as coming from Thomas Bergersen. It's so pure and heavenly, as if the soul of nature itself sung to God in joy and praise. All we know will pass, our love, our future, our dreams, but it'll never be lost, for we'll all be returned to our creator - our "Sender" - where in His grace all our dreams and love will forever be complete.
I wish that was something I could say. Several songs of theirs have made me cry like a baby. New Life, Home of the Brave, Remember Me, So Small, One Million Voices, the list goes on and on and on.
Even I think you, Mr. Thomas Bergersen know this is your masterpiece. This is and was your swan song when that day of eternal rest comes. To me that’s what this piece is about and that’s why I think this is your greatest work. This is what I want to hear whenever I walk through the pearly gates… thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Always thought while listening to this that it was the seven minutes after ones’ death where brain activity continues on. Showing images and past memories, all them in a packaged montage before our subconsciousness fades out. Then as the montage fades we return to our sender. A life so brief, an experience so brief that it is akin to a mere message sent upon deliverance.
This song is possibly my favorite Thomas Bergersen composition to date. An absolute tear jerker, yet so uplifting and epic. The soft humming gives me goosebumps adn squeezes my heart everytime. It's just a masterpiece. I really can't adequately put into words how much I love it and I'm sincerely hoping it will be featured in the 2021 live conert tour.
Whenever I listen to this, it calms me. Not many songs can do that. It's like a relief from my own mind. That's why this is my favorite song- thank you for writing it, Thomas ❤️
Absolutely beautiful. As an eighties child, music means something to me. It moves me. To me, I don't feel any sadness, just joy. What truly makes music EPIC is that it SPEAKS to an individual. It may, and probably will, "Say" something totally different to you than to me. That is EPIC.
the first time i listened, i listened too hard. i thought this was flawed. then it played again in a mix, i wasn't paying attention and was blown away, i thought, "what was that, it was beautiful," and it was this. now i listen to it all the time and just washes me to a plain of higher existence. it relaxes me to the point where i am calmest. thank god for Thomas bergerson and his amazing music. please dont corona virus Thomas, that would be the worst thing in musical history
Thomas, please turn this into a music video that gives optimism to all the people struggling right now. A lot of people are going to need hope and positive vibes over the course of this year.
I am feeling so many emotions at once listening to this piece, and I think Thomas that's what you wanted everyone will experience everything in life from a sense of joy , fear , success failure, mystery, understanding, discovery, loss all in 13 absolutely amazing minutes Mission accomplished
This peace has been floting around my head for a few days, popped up again after a long time and now that I listen to it, I realized that this has been the day of my brother passed away two years ago. Even than right after that I came to listen to this peace since it fits my image and experiences around death so well. I honestely wonder weather Thomas has had a near death experience or something similar. This music carries such a detached, unconditioned, undifferentiated love. I hope my brother has become united with this love.
❤️ I’m sad ... that it’s the last masterpiece from Seven. Also to the “fans” who decided to disrespect our artist and composers work leaving those ridiculous comments. Thank you for helping me add you to my remove list on future TSFH giveaways.
Still cant top "Eyes wider" for me (my absolut Favorite of this symphony), but really love this atmosphere. Give me such chills! And in connection with the Title, it is so heart touching to listen to the Story which the music tells :D Thank you Thomas for writing this whole symphony! Its perfect as its is! And i really appriciate the Fact that he is humming in some parts , give it such an personal Toch^^ ( He is humming, am i right? ^^) I read in an old Facebook Post by Thomas, that he Hums his melodies in his DAW before orchestrating them, maybe we had the luck and this is an Fragment of an early Stage of his work, and he decided to leave it as it is... ^^
This, has become one of my favorite songs of all time. Thomas, I've followed your music since Invincible, and I've been so grateful for the joy and wonder I've experienced listening to your music. I bought this album the moment it was released, and I have not been more amazed. Thank you for bringing such beauty into this world.
Dear God! I've been waiting for this upload since the day of the live stream! I waited. Everytime i saw a Seven's upload, i hoped it was it. I love the Seven album...but this specific song, has something special in it. Also, in those days i was having troubled times with my workmates. Then Seven and this masterpiece came out: i finally found peace and energy, and i overcame all the troubles. Thank You Thomas, for all of your work, from the deepest of my heart. And to all of the TSFH crew, of course! Lovely, Damiano
Great Composers are not all dead, and this is the proof. This album is full of intense emotions, you cal really feel it, like a melanchonic farewell to someone you have loved for long. I am so sad that I had to cancel my tickets for the TSFH concert in Bruxelles, would have been a dream to listen to them live.
This is absolutely beautiful, I keep returning to this one track because of all the uplifting vigor and emotion packed into it, and better yet, it came out on my birthday! Musical icing on the cake~
Loved it at the streamed premier, love it every time I listen to the album I purchased the moment I could find it on iTunes, love it period. So much yearning, joy, beauty, comfort, and glory in this piece. An incredible achievement indeed.
'"Return to Sender" is the piece I am the proudest of. I don't think I have or ever will compose anything better.' - Thomas Bergersen, on the Seven livestream Whenever you achieve something in a hard picky discipline, you almost always think that it's your greatest because you can't imagine or think of what else you will make later. .... Shit happen ...you get inspired... you work hard... and BIM another masterpiece.
Because of when it was released on RUclips, I associate this song with the first few months of the pandemic, with everyone unified by the shadow of death just outside the door. I remember ripping up old bedsheets, making dozens and dozens of masks at a time in my sewing machine. I remember everyone banding together. The world collectively locking down, to give doctors and researchers a few precious weeks to catch up, to try and hold back the tide. What if we'd retained that unity and clarity of purpose? What if we all understood that our moments on Earth are precious, precious things, and we're all we've got?
This song creates images in my head that I cannot actually visualize. Words on my toung that I cannot pronounce. And my hand wants to draw shapes that I cannot physically create. It lets my mind wander to new places I should visit yet I feel like I'm not able to. It's like a scream that cannot be loud enough. Stuck in this three dimensional world. Like a soul trying to return to its sender.
I once had something similar to a near death experience. If I had to explain it in musical terms it was like reaching a level of music that doesn´t need air to carrie the frequenz, no instrument to play on, no sound to tell the storry, nobody to play and nobody to listen. Something wich´s impression an expression is just what is. It was just the absolute undiffereciated existens without a self that creates conceps, gives meaningless names and fragments what is. That`s what brings me back here again and again. Thomes has captured a part of this in this peace.
This is a testament to the fact that not all music needs lyrics to tell a story.
I far prefer instrumental music to music with lyrics. Instrumental allows me to use my imagination instead of telling me exactly what to feel
Sometimes I feel like these days we have become too saturated with music of low quality. If your music does not inspire you like this then I daresay it isn't music. After all, music is one of the greatest forms of art.

Absolutely beautiful, still got no words for the song and how it mixes every single song of the album Seven into one.
the first time i listened, i listened too hard. i thought this was flawed. then it played again in a mix, i wasn't paying attention and was blown away, i thought, "what was that, it was beautiful," and it was this. now i listen to it all the time and just washes me to a plain of higher existence. it relaxes me to the point where i am calmest. thank god for Thomas bergerson and his amazing music. please dont corona virus Thomas, that would be the worst thing in musical history
Thomas, please turn this into a music video that gives optimism to all the people struggling right now.
A lot of people are going to need hope and positive vibes over the course of this year.
I am feeling so many emotions at once listening to this piece, and I think Thomas that's what you wanted everyone will experience everything in life from a sense of joy , fear , success failure, mystery, understanding, discovery, loss all in 13
absolutely amazing minutes
Mission accomplished
I know the piece is 13/57 but the last 57 seconds time just seems to stop at least it did for me when I first heard this
This peace has been floting around my head for a few days, popped up again after a long time and now that I listen to it, I realized that this has been the day of my brother passed away two years ago. Even than right after that I came to listen to this peace since it fits my image and experiences around death so well. I honestely wonder weather Thomas has had a near death experience or something similar. This music carries such a detached, unconditioned, undifferentiated love.
I hope my brother has become united with this love.
This... is real music...
❤️ I’m sad ... that it’s the last masterpiece from Seven.
Also to the “fans” who decided to disrespect our artist and composers work leaving those ridiculous comments. Thank you for helping me add you to my remove list on future TSFH giveaways.
for real ? is this really the last piece ? noooooo TT I want moree
Fallen Angel yes. There’s only seven movement for this album
Who told you that we need your giveaways??!
Still cant top "Eyes wider" for me (my absolut Favorite of this symphony), but really love this atmosphere. Give me such chills! And in connection with the Title, it is so heart touching to listen to the Story which the music tells :D
Thank you Thomas for writing this whole symphony! Its perfect as its is!
And i really appriciate the Fact that he is humming in some parts , give it such an personal Toch^^ ( He is humming, am i right? ^^)
I read in an old Facebook Post by Thomas, that he Hums his melodies in his DAW before orchestrating them, maybe we had the luck and this is an Fragment of an early Stage of his work, and he decided to leave it as it is... ^^
Wow... It's so nice to hear them talking.... From start to finish and back to the beginning... Beautiful
He released the album since 2019 and i keep listening the album everytime i feel down
My favorite track from my favorite album. Words can’t describe the sheer beauty of it.
Thank you Mr. Bergersen.
Am I a Ghast without knowing it? Because I just dropped a tear hearing this.

It's a creative combination of music and images in your video. I'm very impressed!
This is beautiful. one of his best...emotional and peaceful
This, has become one of my favorite songs of all time. Thomas, I've followed your music since Invincible, and I've been so grateful for the joy and wonder I've experienced listening to your music. I bought this album the moment it was released, and I have not been more amazed. Thank you for bringing such beauty into this world.
this will make a fine addition to my collection.
Joke's on you. I removed the kyber crystal.
6:45 gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is definitely the song I want to hear when I get to Heaven.
This track is just a masterpiece the feeling in this music is beautiful/sad just stunning love you Thomas !
This is absolutely beautiful, I keep returning to this one track because of all the uplifting vigor and emotion packed into it, and better yet, it came out on my birthday! Musical icing on the cake~
God bless all brilliant artists! 😍 Def a v beautiful piece of music! It has lil sadness here I feel too.....
This music moves my soul
This one is my favorite. It's so pure melody, I love it.
Loved it at the streamed premier, love it every time I listen to the album I purchased the moment I could find it on iTunes, love it period. So much yearning, joy, beauty, comfort, and glory in this piece. An incredible achievement indeed.
Thank you ❤️
humanity, stay strong!
Soothing music for these hard days
'"Return to Sender" is the piece I am the proudest of. I don't think I have or ever will compose anything better.'
- Thomas Bergersen, on the Seven livestream
Whenever you achieve something in a hard picky discipline, you almost always think that it's your greatest because you can't imagine or think of what else you will make later. .... Shit happen ...you get inspired... you work hard... and BIM another masterpiece.
This is my favorite song. truly a masterpiece
Thank you for letting me escape confinement for a few minutes... What a beautiful, beautiful piece.
Such a beautiful emotional climax to this album. Just a masterpiece!
ever since I heard this song I've fallen inlove with it. it's beautiful
Perfection
Because of when it was released on RUclips, I associate this song with the first few months of the pandemic, with everyone unified by the shadow of death just outside the door. I remember ripping up old bedsheets, making dozens and dozens of masks at a time in my sewing machine. I remember everyone banding together. The world collectively locking down, to give doctors and researchers a few precious weeks to catch up, to try and hold back the tide.
What if we'd retained that unity and clarity of purpose?
What if we all understood that our moments on Earth are precious, precious things, and we're all we've got?
I'm glad that there are those rare people whose mindset resonates with your words. Keep on going friend!🔥
Glorious! GRAZIE, Thomas!
I go to sleep to this song & a fantasy plays in my mind every time without fail. Beautiful piece
4:12 , 6:44 , and 11:02 are my favorite parts....they just put a big smile on my face.
