very nice and very talented dancers. i bet within one year they could make it to the top couples in westcoast swing. because i have never seen carolina shag before his video, so its a very nice dance, but very local. the movements and many parts of the choreo looks very similar to WCS.
Barbara, what shag did you love? I spent the summers in Virginia Beach and Atlantic Beach (NC) in the mid-60s, and the shag then did not resemble the shag now. The shag now is too stylized, too intricate, and too disciplined to be the fun that it was 50+ years ago. My opinion only.
Wow! The footwork was awesome. Brennar Goree is a little too footloose, but Autumn dances with her thighs, calves, & feet, while her torso stays centered. Her trousers create rhythmic, diaphanous folds in sync with the melody. Yeah, that image is hot, but, thanks to her, in a controlled way., Autumn must love dancing because it takes a lot of practice to be that sophisticated, sexy & graceful at the same time. OK, like my wife said, "She's carrying him." I wouldn't say that because he's good in a more theatrical way. Why am I struggling so hard to say their styles are opposite, but they complement one another.
