    This movie was absolutely the best fishing movie I’ve ever seen! I have never fished a lake trout in my life. Primarily I fish walleye. This video came on after a walleye video I was watching ended. I sat and watched the entire thing. Great video guys! Every fisherman alive needs to see this. ❤

    My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer Sept 2023. She asked me to take her to Algonquin to catch trout, it took 2 trips and into Oct she got her first splake 4 lbs in found Lake. She passed away after 95 days finding out. Her last meal was pho soup. Love you mom.
    Thank you guys for being so awesome. We all respect and love what you do. I'll come out and support you one of these days. Thank you for all that you do

    Your film captures why you do what you do. Your work with charities is commendable and needed. The monster mamas through the ice were amazing. It looks like the field goal with the MarCum was good from 50 yards!

    Great video, story and tribute Grant! A rare day on Superior indeed, to fish all day and have the lake remain flat. The one and only time i fished Stannard Rock was like that. Made what could have been a long, bouncy 3 hour ride a smooth 75- minute cruise

      I have an 86 lunk pike pro. Great versatile boat thst handles much larger water with ease than many other equal sized boats. They just dont make em like they used to.

    I really love the 5 and 6 inch predator tubes from northland. Ive caught several 40"plus pike now in northern mn along the canadian border in international falls area. Very solid rig. I cut my stinger hook offn add a small spro split rimg and replace the treble with a gamakatsu treble. Seemed to help a lot on hook up success

      When we get ice, yeah we can. Duluth ice doesnt happen often however. Once every 3 or 4 years.

    Just wondering the fish you lost did it come unhooked or tackle failure????

    • @SuperiorAngling
      @SuperiorAngling  Год назад +1

      No idea. Hard to say. Nothing broke, hook just came out of its mouth. Happens quite a bit actually when you get big fish like that at the hole.

      I fuckin died when I saw that, unless you do a trip that far out and spend that kind of money to execute it, that developes a special kind of rage when the fish of a lifetime comes off in that situation
