Ein wunderschönes Lied von The Tremeloes. Danke, Chip, Alaen unvergessen 😢Rick und Dav. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit. Liebe herzliche Grüße von Ulrike 💖💖💖💖
@Nicholas Sakamoto Alan Blakley was a underated musician, Alan was a great Guitarist as well, He had his own unique way of strumming the six string like Paul McCartney, when watching them play, I ask myself "How are they keeping the rythem with that strum, doesn't make sense with the beat of the song"...Maybe iam missing something...lol
I have reason to believe that Alan Blakley and Rick Westwood are using thumbpicks. Rick is playing a black Fender Telecaster, which I only noticed because of the design of the guitar body and neck, plus the headstock, and Alan is playing a Fender Stratocaster with a sunburst finish, which I believe he changed the bridge and middle pickups, but kept the original neck pickup.
Pilar Martinez, I noticed Chip has a great selection of instruments because I’ve seen the 1970 performance of Silence is Golden, which he is playing a Fender Slab Bodied Precision Bass, and in 1971, which he played a Harmony H22 bass. I noticed that his guitar strap is a Fender monogrammed strap in this video.
@@mauricetaylor6802 When was Alan Howard in the Trems?,i know he played Bass for the tyrems so was he before Chip Hawkes or afterwards?,i was a young 16 yrs old in 66 going to work out of town for the first timer and we stopped at a motorway sevices and i recognised the trems going for a cuppa and a few days later we were in a pub in Essex, not sure if Barking or Ilford(we were working at Magnavox Electronics) and in came the Trems and a lot of people were chatting to them and i said to my older work mates They are the Tremeloes pop Group, nah they said, what would they be doing in a little pub like this?,they are from Essex i said, and we are in Essex.
Of course it's Chip, how couldn't you tell? At 2:55, he sure makes a weird, freaky look when he sticks his tongue out at whoever he's making eye contact with! Pretty gross looking!
Ricks voice was this song. Why is he barely singing? I must have gone through over 100 vids and shortly after the 60s he is not singing and does not even have a mic in front of him. Hope someone knows why he stopped singing.
On another utube video, Rick's nephew said he came to a point that he felt he wasn't able to hit the high notes (which he was so good at) anymore, so he gradually ended his vocals. Very sad, I loved his voice! Peter Pan was no longer a boy!! (This seems to be a lip-synch anyway?)
@@lds251 Hi Kim. They were always happy. The trust that they had in each other is what made them so good at their craft. I was lucky enough to work with them for a few years. Great times!!! Thanks boys!
I love this song! The Tremeloes were so talented! Such a catchy memorable song!

Das stimmt. Eine wunderbare Band The Tremeloes 💖💖💖💖
Alan Blankey unvergessen 🌟🌟
Love ❤️ THE TREMELOES ALAN ,,DAVE RICK, CHIP
Chip has a really nice guitar strap on his bass. I could tell it was a Fender Monogrammed guitar strap, because I saw the Fender logo.
Top performance
The man who did the introduction and credit voice over is Australian born disc jockey Alan Freeman.
Very interesting I didn't know that . Oi oi oi
Nice comb over
Not 'arf, mate!

They are the originals, Dave, Alan, Chip and Rick. Ricks voice gave out, that is why is stopped singing. Too bad they aren't singing live there.
Thought Alan Howard was the original Bass Player?.
@@brigader4heart272 yes you are correct, I guess I meant that they are the best known four members.
To be honest Rob i think Alan Howard might have been in Brian Poole & The Tremeloes but left when they split from Brian Poole?.
Any of these original members?
yes that's the original line up, Alan blakley Ricky Westwood Dave munben and Len ,chip hawks.
@@mauricetaylor6802, but unfortunately Alan and Dave are no longer with us.

Is that Chip on bass with the beard?

Rick said he thought he was not a good singer, so he stopped !

I knew the original 4 back in the 80s.... Rick had a car accident.... he stopped singing after that !
@@kimlanghorn8383 What were they like? They always looked happy.

Poptastic mate , not half.
Stay bright, alright! 😎👍
I prefer the original!
Something wrong with the sound here
Maybe get closer than 3 feet from the mics. Better to sell the lip syncing.
helaas, niet live
Lol they’re not even attempting to lip sync
Why is that dj guy leaning on that girl? She looks uncomfortable.
Beautiful song , and I truly like the Tremelos, but boy- that sure looked like lip synch.
HORRIBLE EL PLAYBACK !!!🤮🤮🤮
Hmmm...must be powerful mics? Standing back so far from the mics. Lip sync?
