such a surfer vibe about this dude, from his flow on the board with loads of pumping instead of pushes (first yellow curb line) to choice of music. I love it!
The whole part just looks like he is really enjoying skateboarding and kind of reminds me of Natas Kaupus part from along time ago. Just enjoying skateboarding and not have to listen people complain about your not doing this trick or that trick is what we need more of. Just the personal expression is what we need to strive for. 👍
That was really gnarly to me. He’d be going more parallel to Ollie onto the curb, but riding into a slappy means his momentum is going straight over the edge if he seriously fucks up.
@@codenameunderbrush6174 Watch the Corrigan video with Ace in it where they are board sliding/grinding down the red curb on the hill. That's a good one
skateboarding has Infinite possibilities, stoked to see new stuff with two boards, powerslides, slide/grind combos and all the stuff, honestly I was kind of boring of the bigspins front boards.
I’ve seen the first spot a couple times now and it just goes to show so well, IMO, the creative outlook skateboarding has towards our environment and various obstacles. To anyone else that’s just stairs and a ramp…but with skateboarding the possibilities are endless.
geez i gotta get out to LA, i cant believe all those curbs are just in the street like that, the spots in this vid have my mouth watering from start to finish
backside: ride up the curb like you're riding up a very tiny bank at a 45 degree angle and get on the curb like you're doing a backside 50 on transition, pick up your front truck slightly and get your back truck on and then just ride it out and pop off frontside: you almost want to powerside into it, come it at an angle also and instead of riding up it just bash your board up the curb and throw your weight forward in your legs to get your board up the curb, you wanna lean back and drop your heels back and pick your toes up but dont lean back too far so that once you're up on the curb you can center your weight and you should be riding the curb, and you can just ride back down to the street with a little quarter/half kickturn off once you have the basic ones down you just have to figure out how to shift your weight and adjust your bash on with feebles and smiths and crooks and stuff! slappys are super fun and honestly addicting once you start trying to learn them lol it took me forever to learn how to ollie into 50-50s on ledges because i always just wanted to slappy on
Slappy tricks are good for when you first learn how to grind in your childhood days. Slappy tricks also come in handy when you reach your mid 40s and 50s, and especially if you want to try to continue skate in your retirement years. Slappy tricks can be the reason your skating days are extended even when the ability to ollie is gone.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's my spot selection or just my wax game that's not on point because I ain't ever been able to just keep gliding like that...
@3:10 was the sickest slappy line ive ever seen. .. i did the noseslides as a kid but now im old and want to learn to slappy grind. never even attempted one
before anything else, skateboarding is just pure fun. never forget that bros, never let anyone tell you what's cool or what to do on your board, come skate some stumps with me.
Which clip do you think was the sickest in this and why? 👇
boardslide-kickflip-boardslide was dope
Not the sickest but I liked the combo @1:38 the best 🔥
That boadslide hippy jump to boardslide was 🔥🔥🔥
boardslide over the cliff
@1:50 was my favorite, i think. Killed it Brian!!

I know right it making we want to surf and skate right now lol
Cause he skates aces
thats funny i saw more of a skater vibe. if it was a surfer we woud be waiting 5-10 mins between.
Shoutout to the metric ton of wax used in this video
Lol
That was sick and that hello curvy curb spot is so rad looking
Brooo I love your vids soooo creative

I was like ok the ender will be on curb, how scary could that possibly be........Ace Pelka: SUPER SPOOKY CLIFF CURB
That was really gnarly to me. He’d be going more parallel to Ollie onto the curb, but riding into a slappy means his momentum is going straight over the edge if he seriously fucks up.
@@DFunct905 I think his board went down the cliff on that. It was in another of his videos
This part is like Chris Roberts wet dream lol hope they review it on 9 club
Yeah man totally
Hope they get him on the show some day as well
Oh they will. And I'm excited to see it.
Dan Corrigan eat your heart out!
@@codenameunderbrush6174 Watch the Corrigan video with Ace in it where they are board sliding/grinding down the red curb on the hill. That's a good one
The part where he grinds the curb though, BRO!
the filming really made this style of skating pop! this was fun to watch.
Slappys are just fantastic
Slappies*?

!!!!! This
tired of flippies
A man who can shut down a spot with slappies is a dangerous man
Probably one of the coolest parts , doesn't have to be huge drops and rails to have alot of fun and look awesome
that boardslide brought such joy to a really bummer day for me. thanks ace!
Hope you’re having a better day today.
I love skateboarding. It's crazy how unique different styles can be. this is great.
We need a strictly slappy part from Chris roberts
the nine club crew literally have an all slappy vid of them skating venice beach
We need a strictly slappy contest.
Or Dan Corrigan
@@matthewjames206 Or a strictly raily

The second spot is like the perfect slappy park.
guy can shred anything but is perfectly happy with a curb💗
Board slides on board rails always makes me smile 😎 weeeeee!
Yeeesssssssssss, so many cool trick combos, so satisfying to watch all the long held slide/grinds
That was dope so much fun you can have just doin slappy’s and reverts so 🔥 love the vibe
Ive always dreamed about adding a curb like this to my driveway
Such a sick and original part. Great music, great filming/editing. Loved it all.
watching with my sons.., and one of them said... "I told you this guy was cool".. great post, makes me miss skating .., and my hometown
i love how u can skate a curb and make it look really good
One of my favourite videos on all of the internet.

Smooth, creative, joyful - love it!
such a casual style.. feckin mazin'
Camera guy at the end. I want you to know that I do love me some Agent Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Greatest slappy grinds of all time!!🤙🏽
Thank you for making slappy great again ✊🏽
We love you Ace Pelka 🔥
Dude the filming is amazing
Everything a skate video should be, smooth tunes, all skating, goofing off
Love his style. So smooth and fast

This is refreshing to watch
Big love Ace , you are the best 💪🏼❤
Can someone tell me what's up with the black square on the left side you see in videos that have a vintage effect?
So much creativity, love it
Ace is a vibe of his own!
So sick. Ace has style for days
Amazing. How many tries you think it took to hit that board slide on that long windy curb. FREAKING GNARLY
Ace is a rad dude glad he’s getting opportunities
Frontside hurricane grind is such a beautiful trick
Transferred too. Hurricanes are so sick on curbs and mini-ramps.
Nice edit, and some killer curb riding.
I heart curb skating. Super fun video!
Amazing Creative part...but last trick ?! :O SCARY !!!
Dammmnnn that board slide around the whole yellow curb was sick

Who the hell is going to down vote this? Ace is my idol. Keep your tre flips. I would rather skate like this. Dude's a true ripper.
Super fun Part! Yeahh!

BEAUTIFUL
Andy Anderson got everyone out here opening up there minds to new tricks in street skating
The backside hurricane at 2.09 , sick !!!!
Ace is the man. The hurricanes are the illist. Just fuckin rad💥💥💥
Slappys are growing on me a lot recently!
Ace!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is so lovably dorky. I need a friend like him
So good. Ace is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. He's so much fun to watch skate. 🤙🤙
Slapptastic!
Much love from Switzerland
A skate video hasn’t made me wanna go skate like that in a while
Super cool, had that streets of fire Natas vibe 🤙
The irony of that ending... taking the most harmless trick possible and making it incredibly dangerous
when the second board showed up at 1:08 I let out an audible gasp this dude's so cool
This was a whole vibe
scary cliff hanger slappy!
This part lowkey slaps.
I don't even understand half the combos he did on those curbs, such a crazy part
Dope content 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely think some of these tricks will reappear as KOTR challenges
We spent our weekdays trying to figure out how to get out of school only to spend our weekends back in school
I think this was legendary.
Nice filming, good job🔥

dude is so smooth with it
Makes curbs look fun
Love me a good Ace part!
Sick shit. I hope he lands a great truck and rail sponsor 😃👍
Cheers 🍻
He’s sponsored by Indy
Every trick was sick but I particularly liked that one-foot slappy
I feel like the pinch has become the skating equivalent of the lick... 1:31
That’s so sick ✌️
I don't know if I've ever seen an entire skate part without pushing once.
great editing
Heck Yeah this is awesome 🙂
Was the background music talking about Capcom Mega Man? That's one of my favorite video game series lol
Mega Man 2 on the NES. Legendary.
Boom🔥🔥🔥
Sick slappy spots
I was like "how was the opener not the ender?" until i saw the ender.
This dude's wax bill is off the charts
He gets his wax free dude cuz he's sponsored so it doesn't cost him a dime.
i saw the ender from indy and rhino already but damn it still got my heart beating again seeing it
Soooooo Bonkers!
Why this is so satisfying
