its able to make a scratch track it has a small mic on the body of the camera.
can't afford it
Hmm,very very hard choice vs a7sIII:bigger(= no only size + weight but main for me it means more useless attention from people in some situations than with a7siii) and more expensive , no evf, no ibis("IBIS" only after, in PC, is for me really not the same and a lot of expensive FF sony lenses just a long time count with ibis -f.e. 24-70 2.8 gm,50mm1.4 ZA etcetcetc, the same Sigma...),no 3.5mm jack for microphone ,no raw with hdmi, ( the best would be internal raw vs blackmagic, canon etc, but i didnt expect this miracle because of no internal raw in fx9), bigger touchscreen looks better, but it is by Cinema5d worse in touch tracking than a7sIII(?!?), and of course a7siii only 12mpx but still better for photos, so it is just much more universal machine, but on the other side a7siii has no ND filters, no zoom rocker , no S-Cinetone, no DCI etcetcetc...ufufuf,really dont know...and btw. I am really afraid, that fx9 owners are not so very happy today, dont you think?!(very sorry for my poor poor english!)
Oh wow so a stepped up a7siii instead of a downgraded fx9
it's becoming very hard to justify buying canon instead of sony... at this point if you prefer canon colors you are better of stepping up your color grading skills and get the FX6. If the c70 was a full frame camera, the RF trinity zooms would have given canon the advantage do to the stabilization that these lenses have integrated in them . I want the RF 24-70 and 70-200on a full frame run and gun documentary work horse camera, but canon is jus waisting time.
It's getting very competitive out there! It's a great time to be in the market for a video camera. There are so many great choices. Lots of it comes down to what people are familiar with and user preference, as with anything else in other markets. Can both a high end mac and a high end pc do what you need? Absolutely. But different people buy each one because they prefer working that way. Same with Canon and Sony.

Answer is spot on!
C'mon! There is No view finder!?
you can use the same loupe as the fx9.. then its exactly the same .. who would ever want to work with that thing on the back of the fs5 or the c300,s..
A great viewfinder would have been nice. But I’d rather see no viewfinder than a very simple one like on the fs5. No one used it.

Too bad no ibis
I’d take internal ND over IBIS personally. Especially with lens IS and the new catalyst browse stabilisation.

Pieces to camera. Not piece to cameras.
You are 100% right, apologies. I’m a camera operator at heart I’m afraid, not a presenter or a writer.
Carl
@@ProAVTV Well that’s clearly not true! I think your videos are well written and presented.
