Just did my 2024 and I cut that bed rail support out with a grinder and it lowered it an additional 1/2" also put grease fittings in the lower part of that drop shackle.
If you install drop 1.5” shackles and pull the blocks on a 4x4 model, you’ll want to install shims to correct the pinion angle. I used the SPC 86255 shims on mine and have no drive train issues.
@@MotecMso since the 2wd doesn’t have the spacer block, does that mean the 2wd would naturally be a little bit lower than the 4x4 ? I would imagine the 1.5” drop shackle with no block would be a total of a 2.5” drop for a 2wd . Correct me if im wrong
@@alejandrowilcox763 Correct - the 2WD regular cab models don’t have a spacer block from the factory and is lower than a 4WD truck because of that difference. If you install the Ford Performance 1.5 drop shackles on a 2WD it bring the back down almost level with the front. I pulled the blocks and added the 1.5” drop shackles on my 2024 Regular Cab 4x4, the truck still has a little rake but drives so much better with more weight on the rear.
Brother, please don't be under the car when moving it with your jack. If the truck fell off the jack it could've easily landed on you. You're using jack stands but the load is going to come down at an angle, combine that with the soft asphalt you're working on, and the truck could easily tip those jack stands over and fall onto you. At the very least put the wheels underneath the car if you're going to do that, so there's something there in the worst case scenario. Love the truck, looks great.

Awesome, I just ordered the ford 1.5 rear lowering kit can wait to install it. Did you remove the spacer block ?
