  • Here's the second log of the day! Another poplar! Something new. Thanks to Tom for sharpening the bits. He's a pro when it comes to sharpening!

    It looks like the lumber from that end of the log was better than the other end.

      Yes.... I should have brought it sooner... it's almost a 2 year old log...

    I guess you be "logging" a lotta time on the bird houses. Nice wood though and you still look like you are enjoying what you are doing.

      yea... not me! the wood shop folks have gotten some high school students to help. we just saw the lumber!

    good video and job. what i have is better than a wood mizer ten. if you are young and think you can roll lumber get the big hydratic mills with 2 or 3 peple you can roll out a lot of lumber. take care, be safe and well.

      John, Thanks. What type of mill do you have? Rolling big logs on a sawmill is hard!!

      @@WaynesWorldGarage I have a woodlands Mills 130 max it will cut 30 inch log if it staight biggest I have sawed is a 28 inch had to use tractor to turn it . I did take the chain saw and rip a 36 inch log and cut the corner off both sides I slabbed it out . Take care be safe and well.
