Love your videos. My mom was born and raised on a farm/ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota on the Belfush river. Not sure i spelled it right. She taught school for a while in Sturgis where she ment and married my dad. A Wyoming rancher way back before WWII. Anyway. Love your videos. Cattle are a bunch of work. That is for sure. My husband and me, still have one old mare on our small place out in the California sun. . Keep the videos coming. Yes suscribed and shared. God bless
Give him a thumbs up people, he is a nice young man sharing his story about another crazy bull and you know you enjoyed the video. Give him a thumbs up and a comment if for no other reason than to feed the algorithm.
Well you got him almost home...needed to be someone there with a green bag of cattle cubes...pouring inside a feeder...to get him running inside for some delicious protein cubes. It's always good to training cattle on cake....so they come to you.
So nice to see a channel up North in the Midwest working cows with horses. ♥️ I feel like everything is out West or down South. Love to see it! Thank you.
Hey, hey Sleep Ranch! Chad from Adler farm mentioned you in a video and told of what knowledge you have and how long your family has been ranching. Lovin’ this video!
Seems like your dad should've had the camera. Catching a bull like that is challenging to say the least. You'll get him! The views at 15:20 was BEAUTIFUL!! My first video of yours to watch for me. Here goes part two.
What a hard job you all have! But beautiful country and living this lifestyle seems enviable to this city old lady. Thanks for taking me along... so exciting!😊❤
Wow, what a great video. Those horses you have are so well trained and beautiful. Sorry for you and your dad that you didn't get the bull after all that effort. At least you still had a smile on your face at the end of the video. Really enjoyed this video and will Subscribe for more.
Carson, that sure is beautiful country. Take up some cows to your friends place. Leave them & the trailer in a pen for a few days. Hopefully the bull will realise he's a herd animal & he'll get used to the trailer. Best of luck. Great video once again, many thanks!
A long hard day for all of you and I am sure the horses were so tired. You will get the bull. You all worked so hard to get him. Hope you have a restful evening. Beautiful country!
I just heard you speaking to Chad Doss from Adler Farms. Thank you for giving him the information about pine needles and his cow. You have a great and interesting channel and keep up the great work that you do. Congratulations on the recent birth of your son. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Another great video, so sorry you didn’t catch your bull 🐂, he’s a stubborn one. Tomorrow is another day, good luck with your next plan. Now go get warm 🥶❄️
@greenthumb…I actually did Watch the whole video before I made a comment…you do really need to watch the Whole video for his channel receive algorithm and remember to always Like, we all want to see his channel Grow…
Enjoyed going on this adventure with you! That one would become hamburger for sure. Those horses got a workout that day. Looking at that snow and thankful our temps will get to the 70s for the first time this year.
Beautiful country! Now I know why when my brother and l decided to slow down our farming that we chose to have no livestock, as the day never goes as planned. I am wore out watching you in the deep snow. Keep the videos coming.
I grew up on a ranch in North Texas many moons ago (I'll be 78 in January, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise). Some things are the same nowadays and some things are way different. Good looking operation you got there. Chad at Adler Farms sent me, by the way.
enjoy your video a lot.. you have a honest no hipe way of presenting, Love the track down and get the bad boys content. Congrats to you and your whole family.
First timer here, came from Chad at Adler Farms. This was a fantastic video even if you didn't get to bring the bull home. Hope you get him next time. Happy New Year to you all.
You need to buy a bull from a man here in Tennessee, Willow Oak Ranch. He promises that his bulls have best disposition, calm, easy to handle. He has big website. Check him out. Been on TV, handle the bulls anywhere. Surprising how well mannered his bulls are. They still get job done.
Boy Cad from Adler Farms sent me...that snow makes me Abit home sick ...but am enjoying Texas weather better in my 80's NOW ...congrats in the new baby ...my great grandson ( 1st.) Is just 2 months old today !!! New Subscriber
Like someone else mentioned two or three good stock dogs would make a world of difference. Also like someone else said “no injuries counts as a victory “. Stay safe ! Tell your father that his knowledge is valued so he needs to let us hear what he’s saying 😉. Experience counts!!! One small cattle mans opinion
I’m afraid the snow would be too deep for your dog idea. I’m thinking things were going great until the guy ran past the bull😖 maybe a couple more horses might have worked then. Hell I’m in South Texas with cow pens! That’s how we roll lol
Howdy from an Adler Farms Sub. Thanks for easing our concerns over June eating pine needles. Looking forward to following your family. Although we live in Georgia's lake country along the I-20 corridor now, I was born in Oklahoma city & spent summers with my maternal grandparents in Claremore, OK.
Just want to say the mustache is coming along Jack's he should be a bullfighter you're going to get him they do get very mean that would be good hamburger stay safe stay warm God bless
When I first started watching your videos I thought they were from the old days. Cowboys from the 1800s. Roy Rogers, Hopalong Cassidy and gene autry:)))
Just found your channel, started from the beginning, binge watching. Love the videos. I own a horse but my butt would be sore doing what you guys do lol
That was awesome, hopefully you'll be able to catch and trailer him. Enjoyed watching, saw you on Adler Farms and came to check out your channel, glad I did.
I think I’d be having some first rate steaks on the bbq by now!! Big day for you guys. How about bringing a couple of cows up to help drive him as in a herd?
Just came over from Adler Farms (Chad). Loved your video! I live in Sheridan Wyoming and it awesome to see another channel in my area. Am familiar with your part of the country 😊
I know it’s work for you guys and animals too but I really like this. Thank you for sharing! Maybe next video we will get the bull. The “stache ” looks OK but I know where your wife is coming from too.
Nice to meet you Carson, coming over from Adler Farms Chad sent me but I thought I was already a member U Tube messing around again. Have a great new year.
success is not geting hurt. That you were. That bull may have to stay there till the cows come back. I wonder what 5-6 bordercollies could have done in the snow? Pretty deep for dogs.
Even though you didn't get him it was still good to see the show. Funny thing about the food, when you were listing off the choices I said to myself, "definitely the pulled pork" then you both said it. Does Jack ride or is he going to learn? Another great video. Can't wait to see the outcome.
I think you all should sale him for hamburger to the farmer. He can feed his family. The nose hair is looking good grow the rest of it . It's worth the heat for your face in the winter. From Stephen in North Carolina, God's speed.
Unbelievable! I guess that’s where the phrase bull headed came from. Give it one more try and if he doesn’t cooperate I’d say it’s time for a bull roast.
ya needing a couple good catahoula cur dogs to help push that big rascal My pups work the cattle and keep them honest when penning or pushing to new pastures. Great for penning and loading Fearless dogs
@@sleepranch I leased a bull couple years ago he was pretty flighty I couldn't get him in the barn to load him so I started feeding him sweet feed to calm him down I hooked the goose neck up put feed in I went out the excape door the bull went in I got him my neighbor saw it still can't believe it lol
You almost had him. He looks good and is a tough bull, good genes for your calves. I hope you can get him next time it would be a shame for a tough guy like him to be hamburger. Talking about the food at the lodge got me wanting pulled pork on a baked potato with everything loaded on it. Be safe.
Ya we’re looking into getting some dogs! My grandpa hated dogs so that why we don’t use them but now he doesn’t do as much. What kinds of dogs do you use or recommend?
@@sleepranch I like border collies, they've always worked well for me. I work with a pair of BC's, and in a lot of brush and timber. Once the cattle figure out that they can't get away, they will usually just go where they are supposed to. And after the cattle are "dog broke", they will see the dogs coming and go where you wanted them too w/o a fight. (that's my experience).
Well, that had to be aggravating! Someone needs to come up with a decoy cow and a bottle of hello bull perfume. Hey it works for deer, ya know! Good luck getting him caught, and please stay safe!

This is one of the most interesting videos I've seen on RUclips in my 8 years of watching videos here.
Thank you Jack!
You boys need a pretty little cow to lure that bull! LOL Loved seeing the countryside in snow, and thank God for a good horse.
"It sounds good, theoretically, but will probably be worse than that", has just become my new mantra. Priceless.
Thank you for showing us what you do, how you do it and why you do it.
