Seeing the top athletes in every country continuing to upgrade and push even one or two full Olympic cycles is so awesome to see.
i thought the combo was pretty for alice and my jaw dropped when i realized it was 4 tenths in bonus. that’s wild i would love to see that routine composition.

Yeh I'm not sure why they said this is an upgrade as aloce was competing this last Olympics at least. She's not the most consistent beamer but has been European champion on beam. She sometimes falls on the second layout on this combo but when she hits and manages all her connections she's extremely competitive on beam. When she doesn't hit she has high enough difficulty it's still an okay score, but obviously not great when she falls. She feel in Olympic qualifications, but she hit it well in team finals for Olympics. I know she was definitely competing it by the end of last quad but pretty sure she was competing it most of her time as a senior (she became a senior in 2017).
If Rebeca didn't have 3 ACL's she could take a lot more risks. What a powerful girl!

Beam is so unpredictable tho. I remember judges in Tokyo being SO harsh. 🥴Guaranteeing a spot in the final won’t be an easy task

Andrade is out for gold but She will have to go through Empress Simone, Queen Sunni and Queen Gabrielle to do it. That is the American Armada. There are also a lot of returning Olympic champions from other countries she will have to beat. The Olympics is ten times bigger than worlds. All the best to Miss Andrade. But my loyalty is with the Armada!

Well, in AA finals the american gym probaly is biles and shilese, Rebeca win shi on two last years. In aparatus finals gaby and suni come strong in beam and uneven bars, but only one of them can compete in the finals, the other is Simone. In vault and floor I don't think the two are a real threat to Rebeca.
Will Russians be able to compet in Paris?
