Good job on getting the pace right (slow and smooth). The line is also very good, there were other options but yours works fine IMO. To be honest, the only downside is the exposure.. It's way too dark, we can't see details of the indoor, and we usually want a bright image for stuff like this (wellness, luxury...). I see it's hard with the snow outside, and a choice was made to feature the view,.. But I would have love too see another shot with a stop or two higher. What time of the day was it ? Maybe there if shot earlier in the morning or later at night it could have been more. Thoughts for the future. Thanks for sharing :)

I've been wondering about possibilites of 3.5inch cinewhoop as I've cinelog35 but feeling quite big for the indors now I know it's just a matter with practice. The trick with slowing down the footage work really well. Maybe it wouldn't work with the actors but overall really handy!

Hi there! I know, there was some pretty dark spots in that locatio... The only thing i´m focusing on is to not push the settings in the camera to hard and not push it too far in the editing. Of course there is darker places in the video where it´s tempting to push up the shadows, but for a GoPro-camera I wanna be very carefull with that, cause it doesn´t have the best dynamic range...

Awesome result! Looks ways better than the onboard video. In my opinion the footage could be a bit brighter, when you are in the upstairs location, but these are only my two cents 🙌🏼

I didn`t use ND filter for this shot, it was sooo dark in the back of the location! Gopro: Fps: 50 Shutter 1/100 ISO: 400 Res: 2,7K WB: Native Bit rate: High Sharpness: Low Color: Flat I used Reelsteady for the stabilization! Love it! Have you tried Reelsteady? How do you like it compared to the hypersmooth?
@@MadsHalvorsen I didn't think so haha... The quality was really sharp. I take it you upped the shutter speed because you knew you were going to slow it down in post? It depends what its for, I prefer the onboard GoPro stabilisation for freestyle because I find with aggressive moves (especially panning) reelsteady looks too weird with the distortion it does in the corners!
@@callumvernon7053 I gotcha! Yeah for freestyle I agree that the Reelsteady is a bit too much! I think what you meant was upping the FPS because I wanted to slow it down? And yes, that`s what I did! Slowed down the 50FPS to 30FPS. The shutterspeed should always be double the framerate, so I had 1/100 in shutter to be at the double of 50FPS! I wanna see some of your freestyle clips, where can I see it! :D

I know someone who has been fined through someone reporting him on YT 👍🏻 I’ve put a few little clips on my Instagram (callumvernon) but they were from a while ago when I didn’t check my expose every time I went flying 😂 once I’ve recovered from COVID I’m gonna get myself back out flying in a spot where I’m ‘safe’ to do so so I can put it on YT😀
You don't see too many videos explaining your thought process on choosing a route. I really appreciate that! Also, I never knew flight mode messed with your craft in tight spaces(doors, ect.) That may be my problem. I have shot a few indoor videos. The last one was a small house and I always seemed to rocket out of the doorways! Do you think airmode causes that. And how do you quickly turn it off when you're away from your computer?
@@MadsHalvorsen I'll hook it back up to betaflight and do that. My favorite is the Protek25. My Protek35 just arrived tonight. I got one flight in. It's even smoother than the 25. I need to take it out of angle mode though.

do you slow down your footage while editing? It's very difficult to keep smooth and level at such a slow speed even with rates dialed in.

You can put airmode on a switch.
Air Mode definitely did that! You should put it on a switch and turn it off when flying smooth indoor! What´s your favorite quad for indoor flying?
