Single/current owner bred, raised, and rides Thor. He is ridden 1st level dressage, (training at 2nd level) in the arena and on trails. He is currently in professional dressage training. He is well bred with both dressage and hunter/jumper champions in his lineage. Hunter/jumper is a possibility for him.
Thor is a handsome, stately boy with a big, loving personality. He loves attention and is everyone's best friend. He will greet you with a whinny when you get to the barn, and will meet you at the pasture gate. He gets along with everyone including people, other horses, (mares and geldings), dogs, chickens, goats, etc. He is very friendly and curious. He loves being pet, groomed, exploring new adventures, and just hanging out with you. He has polite ground manners, trailers, bathes, and UTD on health care. He has never been ill or lame. He has healthy joints and feet, has never had an abscess or anything else. He is currently barefoot, but can be shod. He does not crib, kick the stall, or have any other vices. He can be stalled with regular exercise or turned out with a heard or by himself, and he respects fences.
Thor is great fun, and rewarding, to ride in the arena and on the trails. He has big smooth gaits to soar you across the arena, is talented, and athletic. On the trails he is calm and steady, trail blazes, crosses bridges, and is not spooky. He has been taken out by himself and with other horses. He can be in the lead, back, or anywhere in between.
He does need a confident and calm rider. He is looking for a special someone to unleash his full potential and turn this great horse into an awesome horse. I am only selling him because I do not have the time to spend with him that he deserves. A successful partnership is important, so please feel free to call, text, or email any questions you have.
