I love watching your videos but am confused about making frosting. Some recipes you use a paddle attachment and others a whisk. Most bakers, including myself, will tell you not to use a whisk because you’re adding tons of air pockets into it and when piping it you’ll get a ton of holes. Which is the correct answer? Whisk versus paddle

I just finished baking these cupcakes and OMGG they are incredible! I used the strawberry cream cheese frosting from the strawberry cake recipe from preppy kitchen instead because I had previously made a lot and I srsly cannot get over how good it pairs with the cupcakes! Ofc I did not put the red cancer causing dye and they still look delicious! if anything they look more natural and less artificial. Overall, these are some of the best cupcakes you'll ever try!!😋😋 only thing I would do differently is add 1/2 cup extra of strawberries

thanks for sharing the recipe , I follow the recipe twice but top of cup cake became wet after several hours before I put icing. even turn good the beginning. I think because the sour cream or maybe from chopped strawberry, usually I used butter milk for my cup cake or cake batter. didnt turn wet later of next day. whats do you thing happen? most the recipe on RUclips they using kind like strawberry sauce not chopped.

I tried this recipe. The cupcakes turned out tasting delicious, and they ere nice and soft on top, but they didn't rise properly and the berries had too much moisture I think. also, even though I minced the berries very fine, they ere still too heavy and all sunk to the bottom of the cupcakes, making the bottoms too moist. I'll try this one again but I'm going to try pureeing the berries and cutting back on the amount. I live at 8500 ft so baking here is a special challenge. And yes, I did adjust the recipe accordingly.

I've never warmed to a big pile of icing in the middle on top of a cupcake that is impossible to eat with the cupcake. Prefer to icing that covers the top with a swirl on top -- it doesn't overwhelm the cupcake with sticky sweetness. Just a pet peeve.
