The last time I owned a Fiat 500 was in 1982 and was the cheapest car in Rome I could find which of course left me stranded one morning on the side of the road where I parked it in a secluded country road just north of Rome on the via Cassia. Of course the next day when I went back it was gone and the Italian police laughed when I reported it stolen, she was never seen again. I have a new Fiat 500. Reason I have it is because it's only modern car that has that classic feel. I cannot afford a daily driver classic, so Fiat 500 fits the bill perfectly. Nothing better then revving the little Fiat and feeling like I'm going 100kmph, when in reality I am doing 60. Nothing beats it for licence-preserving fun.
