Fraud is no joke. I’ve been through it myself. They’ve opened accounts. Racked up credit debt.
Zelled money out of my account. Uber eat ordered about 30 times a day Filed taxes in my name. Opened checking account. The bank returned my money. I’ve had to close and open accounts, but ultimately switched banks. The bank has me in something like “life lock”. Exhausted me. GOOD LUCK I hope you find them‼️

This is becoming so much more common these days since data breaches are so common! It’s kinda wild honestly that we still have the credit system we do. It seems… kinda low tech and so obviously vulnerable to fraud in the internet age.
Milk has REALLY done something w/that new concealer. I've seen several people try it, all w/different skin types...& NOBODY seems to like it. Such unanimity in the beauty community is rare😂.
It’s so weird cuz initially it’s really wonderful. Full coverage. I loved it but it doesn’t play well with ANY sunscreen and it’s the first thing to leave my face.
Right! It wears in pretty poorly!
I ended up returning it because 1. the shade range just didn't work for my skin tone and the one that was supposed to be my shade just looked far too pink and 2. it just looked AWFUL after a full day of wear. I had such high hopes for it too...

Tarte has a tubing mascara I’ve been using that I might recommend
I know you love the tower 28 SOS spray. The primary ingredient is hypochlorous acid. You can get hypochlorous acid sprays for way cheaper than what you get from Tower28! I use Briotech - originally bought it to heal a piercing.

Thank you for spreading the good word! It's wild to me that they charge that much for a plain hypochlorous acid spray! It's so cheap at the drug store. I can't believe they add nothing else to it and charge that much.

This happened to me too, over 10 years ago. It’s a nightmare. They bought a car too. For years, I got mail about my “KIA. “ 🙄 Your fraudster went more high end. Lol. Mine bought all this stuff too like perfume, watches, and jewelry to resale. Then there was the random pair of socks. 🧦 😅
The Kaja Chocolate Dahlia is my go to easy eyeshadow trio. So quick and easy and so lovely! But I do also have four other of the trios…they’re addicting
I’ve worked in the finance and auto industry for years and see this happen constantly. I have some advice if you ever want it. Identity theft has been on the rise over the past few years and it’s disgusting, but the one thing you can count on is thieves will always be stupid.

Unrelated…this might be a weird thing to share and maybe not the safest thing but I recently learned of your other channel and literally listened to most of your vlogs as I drove from New Mexico to Colorado yesterday. The drive up went much quicker than the way down :)

That happened to me with my PayPal account, I called the 3 credit agencies and locked my credit down. No one can even inquire without me releasing it.

I was about to comment this. I have my credit locked in all 3 credit agencies--nobody can apply for loans, credit cards, etc. I highly recommend doing this, to anybody who has not done it already
Oh my goodness! I hope the ID theft stuff gets resolved for you and the bruise heals quickly! I swear this whole week has gotten off to a weird start for so many people.

BE THE KAREN! Screw that! THEY BOUGHT A BMW! They'd be lucky if I didn't drive to CO - closet rod in hand - to give them a piece of my mind... Girl you are handling this 100 times better than I would have! Lol! As someone who also has very good credit... it is a job to stay on top of that and KEEP it that good. And to have someone ruin it that fast would be devastating. I pray they can get it resolved for you!
Somewhat similar thing happend to me... with the only difference livong in a large city and case dismissed. Basically, they said sorry lady its not life thretening amount 😵

Kackie, I once had someone charge THOUSANDS of dollars at Boston Market on my card...Unless you're catering a wedding, how do you spend THOUSANDS @ Boston Market?🧐🤔 I also just had fraudulent charges on both my primary credit card AND atm card within a 2 week period. It sucks having to change your numbers EVERYWHERE.☹

I LOOOOOVE chocolate dahlia!!! I got it along with rose water a couple of years ago when they were at TJ Maxx for like $5 each and chocolate dahlia is indeed my favorite. the mattes are amazing. I've used the middle one as a bronzer before.

I used my Victoria Beckham Fig liner instead of brown last night (for the first time) and it really was gorgeous. I wore the Pat McGrath Labs Interstellar Icon quad. It looked brown, but with that little something, something!
I am extremely picky about mascara and I love that tower 28! Both the formula and the wand are amazing. Really hope they come out with a brown version at some point.

Damn, Kackie. Sorry to hear about the identity theft situation. That SUCKS. I just found out that something is wrong with the water meter at my house and had to spend a bunch of time/money trying to start sorting that out. (Hopefully I'll be able to recoup some of the expense from my water company.) In other news, I bought the Kaja Bento in Mauve Bouquet and LOVE IT. I'm eager to try the Tower 28 mascara. That blue eyeliner looks marvelous, too. I hope your nose feels better soon, but is it weird that I'm kind of excited to see how you make-up with the bruise?

I appreciate your definition of clean. That’s how I use it too because I’m allergic to parabens. I’m a fan of preservatives but that one is a no go unless red swollen and highly itchy eyelids is what I’m after and interestingly enough that’s never what I’m going for.😂
My friend got her identity stolen years ago and someone opened up like all sorts of utility accounts (energy, water) under her name and bought a car. She still deals with blow back from that from time to time to this day.
Thank goodness you found out about the fraud when you did👍 this is a very scary crappy situation to go through, imagine if it had got bigger than it was, but a BMW man that's pretty bad. So glad you are on track to having this sorted Kackie the detective 😉🕵️♀️ Glad the police officer was nice and of help also, it makes a big difference how people treat us especially when in a very distressing situation 😘

How you felt calling the collection agency is how I am made to feel every time I call Disablity (I’m a 39 year old disabled woman😡). It’s disheartening. this may be the first time I've seen something reviewed after I purchased it. My tube of the Thrive mascara is on it's last legs (sad face.) Looking forward to using the tower 28. Sorry to hear about the identity theft, that really suck, it happened to me a couple of years go, but my credit was awful, so there wasn't much they could do with it except drain my checking account. I work at a bank and we get at least 2-3 calls everyday about ID theft. Most banks do offer some kind of ID theft protection, so that might be something to look in to! Hope everything works out for you! ❤

OMG, Kackie, The same ID theft happened to my husband! The criminal tried to get all of our mail forwarded to a Denver address, then attempted to open accounts with online banks and get car loans. My husband had to freeze everything with the credit bureaus, filed a police report and opened a case with the postal inspector. Then, a couple of months ago, we got a collection letter about $30K in back rent and penalties for a luxury apartment in Denver. He also called the collection agency and was treated like crap. The apartment management company stonewalled us- I think because they realized they were negligent. Awful experience all around, so we hired an attorney. So sorry you are going through that!

I hope you get a good resolution with the identity theft, it sounds like you're primed for it! I'd blast them to their employer if I knew where they worked. The audacity of some people really blows my mind.
Would you be able to do a video on makeup you think would fare well on mature skin? I too would love to get my mother something extra nice for Christmas, but I worry the things that I like might not sit well on her skin.

Sorry to hear about the identity theft! That sucks. Not exactly the same but similar - two years ago I got a letter in the mail from a collections agency that processes Tricare (military insurance) debts saying I owed two grand to them for an overpayment they made ALMOST SEVEN YEARS prior. Since it was six years old I did not happen to have the formulary handy to verify they overpaid.
Collections agency was BRUTAL to me. All the money was due immediately; Since it’s a government agency, there was no negotiation available to space out payments or pay down the debt. The kicker was a statute of limitations would have kicked in had I actually made it to the seven year mark, but that was a few months longer than the agency was giving me for payment and they would have garnished my wages before then. Womp fucken WOMP.

I have no idea) and one day when I was like 12, I slid it open to get clothes and the door came off the track and fell and hit me square in the face 😂 after that my parents took them off and replaced with some flowy curtains 💀
Some people just suck. And all collections groups have an "F u, pay me" script and most don't use critical thinking in any discussions. If I weren't a better person, I'd say let's pay them a visit. 😈

I’m so sorry girl, i unfortunately know the joy of identity theft all too well. Just found out mine has been stolen for the THIRD freaking time. Happen the first time when i was old 8 years old and i didn’t find out until i got married and went to change my name and i had to prove my social security number was actually mine since some random dude had been using my social to collect unemployment for over 10 years! Now it seems like my name makes it to the top of somebody’s list every 5 years or so and i have to go through it all over again 🥵

Omg this literally just happened to me with the amateur fraud hour! Somebody got into my Farfetch account and bought like $5000 of really fancy basketball shoes but they forgot to change the shipping address and they showed up at my house 🤦♀️ Not as major as yours and farfetch was great about it. But wtf at least get your shoes ya know?
