Wimbledon 1964 (not 1965 as I first thought).

  • Fred Stolle playing against unknown player for me at Wimbledon 1965. Is it Cliff Rysdale or William Bungert? It is not the finale.
The clips was filmed with an amateur 8 mm camera with no sound.

It is definitely Christian Kuhnke. It Looks like him and is definitely his style.

I'm sorry I was wrong about the year. It was 1964 and I think Stolle played quarterfinal against Christian Kuhnke in the clip.

I've looked up Stolle's opponents at Wimbledon in 1965 and he beat Victor Egorov (in round of 128); Claude de Gronckel (round of 64); Billy Knight (left-handed blonde haired British player in round of 32 SO IT COULD BE HIM); Bob Hewitt (round of 16); Rafael Osuna (in last 8); Cliff Drysdale (in semi-finals) before losing to Roy Emerson in the final. Is this definitely 1965?

It's neither Bungert or Drysdale as both were right-handed servers. ?? Nikola Pilic was a leftie and blonde. He would have been about 25/26 years old in 1965.
