Binged volume 3 of the Dragonlance Destinies trilogy over the weekend. Brings the whole series full circle very nicely. A series Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman first began in 1984!
I thought I'd finally found the video where I had already read all the books, but it was not to be! Only three to go through, and I have Justice of Kings on this month's TBR! I hope it gives me vibes similar to Tainted Cup!
Fantastic list, I do have 1 question though, how are your books in such good condition? Mine look so well read! The spines are pristine on every book you've shown (I speak of the paperback versions)
Wow, I've never heard anyone say Wheel of Time is bingeable. I love the series, one of my favorites, but that's a new take that I've heard. Thanks for the list!
Have you read McClellan's follow up trilogy Gods of Blood and Powder? The action moves to different continents (Fatrasta and Dynize) and puts me in mind of Europeans settling in the Americas. We learn more of Ka-poel's people and their Bone-eye magic system. Also if you like flintlock fantasy I recommend Django Wexler's Shadow Campaigns series
I guessed right at Piranesi and WoT ❤❤ have a blast reading WoT! Such a great series ❤❤ so difficult to put down, but sometimes a bit dreary to ho through...then I just skimmed until it became interesting again 😅
Thx for the list. V.E. Schwab is on my reading list. So, seeing you loving that book, give me a good feeling about it. A new name for me, so, allways a little bit scary about I will like it or not. WoT your number 1. I'm rereading it and it's like a family I know very well. I'm reading in Dutch, so, not all books are translated of your magic list. It was a joy to watch it.
Fantastic list!! Thank you so much Isa! You basically described most of my TBR lol (which tells me that I have a fabulous year ahead in reading!) Would you consider The Gentleman Bastards as an addictive read as well outside of this list?
Yes! Honestly it wasn’t my cup of tea the first time I read it! But upon a re-read I found it so fascinating! I needed to know more, but I do get it is a tad slow in the middle chunk!
Awesome list. Can't really argue with you with the ones I've read that you've highlighted, lol, they were all captivating reads. I get cancelling plans, I have days off booked for when Wind and Truth drops 😂
DNF’d Red Rising during the third book. Completely guessed the entire first book plot. Way too predictable. Then Darrow is completely caught off guard at the end of the second with a betrayal I saw coming half a book away. Tried the third and just could not do it.
McClellan is criminally underrated. Powder Mage Trilogy was phenomenal.
Absolutely. The setting, the 3 magic systems, the mystery, the pacing... so good.
Love all your recommendations! Thank you! Adding more to TBR 💜
Yay!! This makes me so happy!
I'd like to add to this list the Strange the Dreamer duology, by Laini Taylor, it's also very fast paced and impossible to put down

I really enjoyed The Bone Shard Daughter. Gwynne is a can't miss author for me also love The Hunger of the Gods trilogy. Really good list over all.
Thank you so much!

Ohhh they are widely different! Justice of Kings is way darker and religious! But I really enjoyed it! Perfect September read 🥹

Thank you. I just downloaded the digital version of Project Hail Mary and I am looking forward to reading it. Thank you again!
I wasn't sure about The Bone Shard series but this definitely convinced me to add it to my tbr 😊
Thank you for the recommendations! I'm really trying to move out of my comfort zone and try more fantasy and sci-fi and less romance.

I have project Hail Mary on my tbr and I hope that I enjoy it as much as everyone says I will!
Oh it is fantastic! I hope you love it as much as I did!!
If you're an audio book person at all, it's my opinion this is the greatest audio rendition of a book ever. It's a great story either way.
Added a lot to my TBR from this video! Thanks!
Yes!! That is so great to read!
very good video!
I’ve read these all! On WoT 11! Also read Andrew Stewart’s new upcoming book - God’s below!
🐭 You had me at ‘lives in library 📚
Hahah right. Who can’t resist that!
RED RISING, EPIC TITLE
Thanks❤❤. Great additions to my TBR.
So happy to read that!
Has the UK not seen the recent allegations against Neill Gaiman?
I honestly wasn’t aware! Thank you for bringing this to my attention
Was gonna comment about the Neil Gaiman allegations too. But why "UK" though?
👍👍👍🤖🚀📚🐲

No Lord of the Rings ? She doesn't know what a good book is.
