Santuario - Soleá by Paco Peña - Flamenco Guitar Practice Session and Cover

Those slurs kill me! I decided to throw the camera on while practicing this great Soleá by Paco Peña. Obviously there are mistakes and cuts, but I wanted to show my progress so far, as well as experiment with my video angles. Hopefully you enjoy the falsetas either way!
Don’t worry, I plan on re-recording this in higher quality eventually...

Hello Maestro, are you still here? Please give me advice.
I have a FENDER ESC-105 CLASSIC guitar, which is not a flamenco guitar. Can I play something like rumba on it or should I buy a flamenco guitar?

Hi! Good question! Whatever guitar you have, start with that one! It might not be the sound you are looking for when it comes to flamenco, but it is great to get you started learning the basics. If you find that you really like flamenco, then of course you can look into a flamenco guitar. You can also use a cheap classical guitar to get started. That’s how I started!
