Welcome to my Barrio, My Mundo and Welcome to Vienna. Today and tonight for the concert, we are touring the Musikverein in Vienna, the Most Beautiful Concert Hall in the Word! This is one of the best things to see in Vienna. The concert here - one of the best things to do in Vienna.
The Musikverein was inaugurated by Emperor Franz Joseph in 1870.
Since then the Golden Hall in the Musikverein is known by friends of music all over the world, not only because of the annual worldwide broadcast of New Year’s Concert by the Vienna Philharmonics, but also for being permanent seat of the Vienna Philharmonics and main stage of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra.
Construction of the building was made possible through an historic decree by Emperor Franz Joseph. In 1857, he had ordered the removal of the city walls in Vienna so that a sophisticated and modern boulevard, the Ringstrasse, could be created in its place.
The Golden Hall fascinates the concert guests being a unique architectonic and acoustic master piece.

The theatre is small and the acoustic is superb, so flor listening, it does not matter much. I was at the rear part of the parterre, but still the sound was very good.But for viewing comfort, I suggest the parterre.
