In order to better appreciate the grueling work that the Hebrew slaves would have subjected to during their time in Egypt, Jeremy visits an Egyptian brick yard, where locals still make hand made bricks like they did thousands of years ago.
The latest feature-length documentary from Appian Media, ""Out of Egypt"" follows a group of filmmakers as they attempt the Exodus journey, as God led the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, through the wilderness of Jordan, and to the Promised Land of Israel. As they delve deep into the history, culture, and geography of the Exodus, they consider how God can take each of us on a journey from slavery to salvation."

At our church I am currently teaching Exodus to a junior high class. I shared this clip with the class when we were studying Exodus 5. Though the kids have studied these passages their whole lives, it was shocking to see how difficult the work was that God’s people were required to do. The Appian Media videos are an excellent companion to any Bible study!

What a great connection with the experience of the Jews in slavery. Thanks for the visual reminder of how incredibly tough it was.

Contrary to the Israelite slaves, these men work there willingly and take great pride in what they do.

The Hebrews did not build the pyramids like commonly thought.

Unsurprisngly, the Hebrews weren't in Egypt and weren't slaves. Exodus is a set of baseless claims that never happened.
