This game has a SHOCKINGLY good local co-op system. My gf and I struggle to find games we can enjoy together, and this one really checked all the boxes. The main pro: you can each open menus/shops/inventory separately, without pausing the other player's game. Your shop/inventory menus take up your half of the screen, and the other player can open a different menu, or run around and do tasks while you shop. Opening menus doesn't stop enemies but DOES pause the world clock, so you can scum farming times so as not to waste your day time farming. Only player one can interact with npcs and trigger quests/dialog, but it honestly just works. You both share the same currency pool, which is made up for by each having your own inventory. Absolutely fantastic co-op
Damn shame what they did with this game;they shoulda made it a lootaholic titans quest for the monster drops, added the various elements to the weapons, and kept everything else. Having a care bear diablo in other words. That'd been a riot.
This game is sooo good im hooked. Im a 36 year old and i love the fighting style so basic not having to remember different combos i hate that. Im hear to play and relax not to feel like im at work having to think too hard to learn. Its relaxing but not boring. Theres lots to do. I love the story its easy to follow and the quests are fun and i love farming to make food for hp which u could also sell but it realy useful to farm not like other games. Its great if u sont want an over complicated which isnt too repetitive and that isnt so simple that its boring. I love it alot. Ill buy the next game if they make another one.
While I do enjoy farming games, I find them to be a bit stressful. There is never enough time in the day for everything I want to do and I'm always rushing to get to bed before midnight. I end up having to make a schedule of what I want to get done for that specific day. Is this game more casual?
No time limit and no forced sleep. The farming is just a tiny tacked on not deep aspect of the game. Think Crafting in Cyberpunk 2077 just there for the sake of being there with very little impact overall.
@Arvenus. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna keep this reply as real as I possibly can. The games themselves aren't stressful, please don't blame games like this. The problem is YOUR ability or lack there of to manage your time. Just because YOU can't manage your time, doesn't mean the game itself is stressful. I have PLENTY of time to manage married life, a mortgage, a job and still enjoy these types of games with plenty of time on hand. I would suggest you become a bit more strict with yourself atleast until you get the hang of how to successfully manage your available time.
@@Eitachi5656 Wow, I think you confused in game time limit and real life time limit. Maybe I am an ass, but I am 99.9% sure that @Arvenus was saying they find the IN GAME time limits of Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons style games stressful as those games literally force you to go to bed or you pass out. I do not think they were referencing In real life time limits on gaming. As to In Game time limits, I never liked them as they are arbitrary and severely limit your freedom and instead force you to pick and choose what you will attempt to do each day and if a random event pops up, your plans count for fuck all. As to kitaria fables, this game is a solid 4/10 at best, not worth the money nor the time investment. Not a single aspect of the game is anything but average, accept MAYBE one single song which is a throwback style song that reminds me or Secret of Mana and Chrono trigger Era music. The rest of the game is just meh as can be.
Hmm 7 i think thats better than last time the channel review the game thats great. I am looking forward to it since its a chili action farming game. I saw in one video i watch people mentioning Fantasy Life.

couch coop is the only reason why I want this game.

These games should be in a genre called "I liked Stardew Valley too!" :D
Or Rune Factory in this case
@@skydiamsteam6005 Lol, true
Except stardew valley is kind of trash
@@eradicatedpulse6896 why do you think so?

Great review. Sounds like a nice game to keep me busy till Tales of Arise next week.
I miss Fantasy Life
Dood, I'd been wanting fantasy life 2 since picking up the switch. Nearest I think we getting is rune factory 5 in a year or so.

Nice comparison. Yea the day cycle is mostly just to close down the shops for a time and summon some stronger monsters on the field.
@@NoisyPixelNews I'll check it out then. Thanks.

How does it compare to cat quest? I want to gift this to a friend and he loves cat quest
Cat quest is a lot faster
the audio is wierd shifting from one side to the other....very annoying
is this a lot like Fantasy Life?
Not really at all. More like rune factory
i was bombarded with ads for this on reddit... looks ok, i'd play it if it was free on mobile or something.
haha, i saw them a bunch too!
Cute but i think there are already better games of that genre out there.
mic literally inside your mouth.
Would've tried it, if it weren't for the furry thing. I dunno, not a fan. Lel
Ugh another Animal Crossing want to be game with a timer.
ah yes a timer on the day. But you aren't like forced to play at a specific pace or anything. I know what you mean though.
I get the furry villagers but I don't recall ever killing or fighting monsters in animal crossing...
animal crossing is a life sim, this is an action rpg with farming ...
Different games dumbass
