SOOO well explained and easy to follow. Really appreciate how you paused after each row to let us check our work against yours. Made a complicated pattern feel so simple. Took me about 2 hours to complete and I'm in love.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It came out gorgeous. I am a C cup but surprisingly were exactly the same size as yours. A little tip for everyone with bigger cups, if you count 18 stitches down from the tip of the cup , that would be the point where you would have to stop your V-stitches. Hope that is not so confusing.
Do you mean count 18 stitches down and that’s where you stop the normal v stitch? I’m trying to figure out how to do it for larger sizes and am a little confused!
@@Raven-zw6rh I believe she did mean , count 18 stitches down from the top, and that's where your last v should end, like the top of the V, if that makes sense..I ended up doing 5 vs, I'm a C/ small D.
I really wish you'd said something about adding extra V-stitches in the pineapple design if you have a different cup size at the BEGINNING of your video, but it's okay... Other than that, this is a wonderful video, everything is clear and precise. I made one for my friend and she loves it. Good job :)
@@lappelduvide2515 her tutorial doesn’t actually show how to add extra v-stitches at the beginning of the chest design, but at about 25:55 she kinda mentions that you should add extra v-stitches
this is the first top I've ever crocheted and it turned out GREAT. I'm a 38DDD and made an XL, constantly double checking to make sure the cups would fit and the straps would go around. It was easy, looks great, and fits perfectly. It took about 2 days during finals week to make the whole thing, and I plan on making more. This is awesome!! I found doing 6 of the V stitches for the middle between the cups before doing the pineapple design worked best to fit the cup size.
I absolutely love this pattern I think that it is beginner friendly and that everyone should at least try to make a top at least once during their time crocheting! I have tried to make tops freehand before and it has never worked out however completing a top through a video is so helpful and I love the way that you explain everything. Thank you PassioKnit Kelsie!
I made this too about a year ago as a gift for one of my best friends, she LOVED it. I loved making it as well! Your instructions are clear and easy to follow thanks for the tutorial! :)
At first this top seemed so complicated to me (this the 3rd time I've ever crocheted anything) but you explained it so well! My top tuned out perfect, thank you!!
I'm a buxom 60+ gal and need the XL. I used 5 ch between the cups and needed much more support in the under bra area so did two rows sc then included both in the third row by crocheting a 1.5 stitch around them, and then did 8 rows sc below the support band. Waaay comfy and no sag! The band landed at the bottom of the ribs. Thank you for the pattern. It is easy to adjust to fit.
Great at teaching love. Only thing I want ppl to know ahead of time when u do the pineapple. Watch the steps first! If u are a bigger cup size u have to add in extra rows before the seven double crochet shell! So my cup was 15 chains high since I'm a b-c medium size. I added two extra v stitch rows before the shell. If u r a c-d large and did 17 stitches to ur cup add 4 rows id imagine. And so on. Otherwise it may get confusing when u get to the top and u have all this space left when she has reached her highest point on the bras. Correct me if I'm wrong tho! A lot of it matters how many stitches high your bra cup is. I had to tear my pineapple apart twice :::sighs::: but I got it now! Such a beautiful pattern. Thank u!
Great tutorial!! However, if your have bugger cups than she does, add more of the single v stitches before you start doing the double ones. I was doing c cups and added 2 extra rows of the single v stitches in the middle.
When making the MEDIUM size, I have found that doing one extra "v-stitch" at the base of the cups will leave me about 2 stitches short at the top, so I slip up the last two, and enter the tip on the other side. Everything else lines up perfectly. Hope this helps anyone making a medium!
I made it in an xl. To modify the pineapple pattern to fit i skipped 1-2 extra stiches in between each row of the pattern and replaced all the double crochets with treble crochets. No need to add extra v stitches if you do it that way
I also wish you said something about extra stiches before you got tot the end, but I just modified the top so I wouldn't have to frog my work. Love your videos and your tic tok
I just finished this top and it turned out beautiful so I’m really happy 😊 I was able to make this while still a beginner although my native language is german 😊 Very clear and precise instructions! Thank you so much for this helpful tutorial!! 🤗

I love how you did the fitted cups , that is a definite game changer 🙌 👏 👌 😀 , all in all great tutorial I plan on making more using your video and I subscribed
Just finished making this. Super simple! I had to improvise because for some reason I reached the top of my cups about three stitches sooner but it worked out. I made a small and it is tiny! It will probably fit a tiny 12 year old 😅
I really want to make this in a size xs, but when you talk about sizing in the video, it doesn't seem to match up with what's written in the description. Maybe I'm missing something or hearing incorrectly, but can you help me out please?
I absolutely love this top, I have made several in the smaller cup size. However , I'm making one to fit 32ddd. My cups are made but I'm not sure how many single V stitches to make in the middle before I start to increase
The top is gorgeous. Im going to attempt to make one for myself. Not sure how itll turn out because Im very llarge busted so ill have to make some adjustments. I have a question! At the beginning of the video you said to even get the stitches h right at the chain that most people don't. Then at the v stitch you skipped that stitch. I'm asking why or was it a mistake?
i know this is old but i wish you had a written out pattern for this i would have totally just bought this ps never to late to make one since one of your new year resolutions is writing more pattern also i know you just did a video on one

This is so pretty!! I’ve been wanting to make a top like this for the Indy 500 (let’s hope that happens this year bc I will SCREAM if not) and I think this is the one. About how much yarn did you use? I’m pretty sure I’d make the same size as you. I have multiple (3, I think, but not sure) balls of a 4 weight cotton. Not sure of the brand (I got it as a hoco proposal a few years back and they wrapped the little ‘will you go to Hoco with me’ in a ball of yarn, so the ball band wasn’t there anymore haha). I have 2 people who want me to make this but are a bit on the plus side. Any tips on how to make the pineapple portion larger? I’m somewhat new with crochet, not too sure how to get the proper measurements
Adding V stitch for bigger size should be explained while making V stitches and not at the end, the result is I have to untie it and go back to V stitches.
I have a question? I made the cup large for more coverage… but next time I will measure from underneath my breast to where I want the cup to stop in order to extend the pineapple design…. But how do I fix the middle now?
