Great break down and great playing. Thanks! My favorite Muff right now is the Tri Pie 70s. I'd really like to score a W and C Your Face 60s. I love their stuff...
Superbly done beginning to end. Only thing missing was a hand drawn picture of Keith playing Satisfaction. Great pictures, dialogue and the inverted weathered wood box is cool. I got one at Walmart for $11.43, stained it and it keeps my 6 pedals elevated in easy reach. Have a Voodoo Lab 4x4 zip tied underneath out of sight. I have a Chase Tone purple Stardust fuzz and a Plum Crazy FX The Squawk Treble Booster. I watched your vid of your Ikea peddle board for inspiration. Your 3 pedals each sound sweet.
Good stuff! Right now I'm using a Fuzz Factory (16 years old & only on its 4th battery!) and a new Muffuletta (mainly on the Civil War setting…more mids) in tandem. The FF's Gate & Comp are set for a bit of that sputtery octave-y effect, and I control the overall intensity with my guitar's vol knob. The Muffuletta is set much like your outro sequence with the Sustain near minimum. Into a clean but not sterile amp (Hi-Tone 50, a dead-on Hiwatt repro, with channel & master vols at Noon) these two give me lotsa tonal & breakup range. For now I've put away my other dirt pedals.
ALL YOU NEED IS FUZZ
I love fuzz! Excellent job showing what these can do.
Great vid man! I'd love more of this type of vids (explaining in a long vid any subject about guitar, amps and pedals)
This was an amazing video! Thanks for that. Keep up the good work! Cheers
Great comparison and fuzztory lesson! I'm just getting into fuzz, and thus video was great! I own a Big Muff, and just ordered the Solar Bender.
Really good video, the history part of the video was really interesting keep it up!
Great video JJ. That is the first silicon fuzz face that I've really liked the sound of! Love the colour too.
Thanks for this great vid with all your knowledge!
