hey geniusPC, it would really help me out if you could make a settings guide for the wheel, the default settings are unrealistic and almost unplayable. Maybe even just posting your wheel settings? thanks a lot. PS - this vid was very helpful and although I got the wheel and pedal to work on fivem, I think they need some more fine tuning to feel realistic or even enjoyable like assetto corsa

Yo so can I still use my regular x box controller if I have a PlayStation steering wheel?
yes, some buttons on the xbox controller may be different because of the steering wheel being plugged in, just re-map the keybindings to your liking.
Does the pedals and feeling of the car and steering feel any different when you switch cars ?
yes each car has their own handling, in every game

Thanks!! Menu wasn't working for me, had to change the menu keybind in the settings for manual transmission to something else, assigned it to the delete key and now I'm cruising in fiveM

It will always say “disconnected” or “not detected” even though it is detected and connected. That message is false.

make sure the server owner didnt change the button for the menu ! i seen 2 servers that have done that...
@@GeniusPC yeah I even went into the file and changed the button to see if it would work on a different one but still didn’t want to pull the menu up. I talked to the owner and he said he’s going to use your video to setup his own to see if they can get it figured out.

inside of five m application data..... right click the mouse > new folder > type plugin > press enter
first person animation in game works while turning the wheel however it doesnt physically turn the car any help?

Right click? And make sure you’re not clicking a shortcut icon.

And can i use it in singleplayer mode in gta
i tried to look that up, but PXN shows as the brand when searched, i dont want to say it will work, when i dont know about a certain item. i would aim for logitech, thrustmaster and even Moza when trying to game with wheel support.

So as of now i cant join the server. si there a reason why? I got the moza r5 bundle with the handbrake. im new to the fivem life. Help.
my server is down for maintenance, join RSM Freeroam server, its free and they have wheel support.

@@GeniusPC Yeah so i did everything you did beside load the same server. i went to the server you said. and i cant get my moza r5 direct drive wheel to bind on fivem keybinds. If i load up the wheel troubleshooting in the script my wheel and handbrake do read. so im confused on why it dont work in game. please help.

I added sv_scriptHookAllowed 1 for my server but my friend still can’t open the menu, any suggestions or fixes for this??
restart server, make sure they have the asi files in correct folder
@@GeniusPC I found the issue, so I had to drop down on gamebuilds, my server was 2699, I than went down to 2372 and it now works for him.
what does the owner have to add to the server cfg file?

Press the button to the right of the letter P on keyboard - go to Controls - wheel input - configure steering wheel
I mean, the input of the steering wheel is read. The wheel indicator on the bottom left of the hud showing the same rotation with my g29.
But the car's tire not rotating at all.
it says manual transmission is outdated, what do i do?
Only thing I can think of is using an older version of gta that’s compatible with the outdated version. Other than that you will have to wait for an update. In my case, I’m using the original 7cd version of gta. So you can say I’m using the very first version of gta just updated, so there is no mod that won’t work for me.

followed everything step by step so did my friend, still not picking up my device but its picking up his? only difference is he has the g920 and i have the G29
Install G-HUB software, for free.
unplug wheel from back of pc, and reconnect it.
@@GeniusPC yup already installed everything step by step. The Mod Menu works through regular GTA V (story mode) but for some reason won’t pop up through fivem. Still looking into it but thanks 👍

@@GeniusPC yes sir in five m the menu says “device not found disconnected” & then I load the mod thru gta v story mode everything checks out just fine. Very strange maybe it’s a bug in the current version. I’ll have to try another version later. I know I’m doing it correctly as I have assetto Corsa mods & it’s the same idea for both apps.
@@GeniusPC one thing that happens on my pc is the download link just downloads to a standard zip file & not through WinRar which I thought was quite odd.

Push knob down, far right, then into 6
If no shifter, left paddle shifter from 1st gear goes to neutral or reverse, depending the game

You can repeat the steps, if it doesn’t work, you may have to wait for an update unless you know how to Downgrade game version

You’re waiting on the update, like others. You can try an older version of manual transmission in the meantime.
nvm server build version needs to be on 2699 or lower to work

only thing i hate is the force feedback needs to be stronger
Open G-hub and turn up force feedback or centering spring

it should ask you to keep or discard the file that's downloaded, select keep.
For some reason my wheel turns the wrong way when turning

On rsm free roam it uses my brake pedal as gas and clutch as reverse for automatic
