i still cant believe these guys have only been around since 2019 because everything about them from their aesthetic to their sound to their live presence just FEELS like a band that's been around for way longer and bigger stars than bands that have been around for WAY longer. i need an eighteen visions + static dress US tour sometime this year dawg I WILL SELL MY OWN ORGANS for tickets to that.

This band feels alot like If Incubus had blown a decade later than they did, during the 00's MySpace-Core Era. It's the perfect blend of nostalgic AltRock & Post-Hardcore with a twang of fresh flair that holds it all together and doesn't make it stale. It uses it's nostalgic notes as a utility more for garnish rather than lean on it like a crutch.
With that added touch flamboyant, mellow dramatics reminiscent of bands like early P!ATD thrown into the; stage presence, cadence and lyrics.
This is such a certified Chef's Kiss.
This band is going to do great things and I'm so ready to watch it all unfold.
I don't really get the incubus comparison, they sound nothing like them. To me they are a mixture of Glassjaw, Underoath, Finch, and old Deftones with a modern twist.

I was binging them when I wrote this, it may not be this song in particular but a few tracks reminded me in parts of the instrumentals. As well as the cadence/inflection of the clean vocals.
But, I do agree.
Still blows my mind that I knew the singer and now he's famous. He showed me Architects and Animals As Leaders in college, completely revamped my music taste, Olli, I thank you.

The golden age of post HC ended a good 3-4 years before you said it began lmao. Relationship of Command was the last great Post HC record and the perfect summary of the genre
@@dicecard921 That's the old wave of post-hardcore you're talking about lmao. Drive Like Jehu, At The Drive-In, Polvo, Fugazi and so on. They were more math rock and punk influenced than the later wave. Don't come in here all elitist and act like Underoath, Here I Come Falling, Finch, and those bands aren't post-hardcore too.
@@L.D.1 Underoath is metalcore or screamo depending on the album, HICF is metalcore, Finch is scenecore. None of them bear any musical resemblance to the actual post hardcore nor fit the Reynoldsian definition of post-X music
