Mr Bernard thank you very much You are the reason I’m the best in my CCNA & CCNP class after following your videos from project 1-12 and now my lecturer focuses on me simply cuz I can do a lot of configuration even the ones he hasn’t taught and now my course mate wanted me to share how I do all that without errors in my configuration I’ll share all your videos to them cuz you are the best
I have been looking for an explanation on how to configure an hsrp on a layer 3 switch with an ether channel and have been working on this for hours. I watched this and now I know. Thanks dude! Subscribed!
Hi I am trying to setup HSRP for IPv6 and I can't find a tutorial for this, is basically the same scenario but dor IPv6, if I use for just 1 access switch works fine but if I add another access switch with same vlans the communication stops.
Would the same process work if for example, I turn this topology into 1 cluster, and I have another cluster with a similar topology, and the ISP is connected to both clusters?
what is the defference between router on a stick and the way you configured inter vlan ? . you just configure routing protocol to all vlans right ? is this secured ? i mean all devices in all vlans can communicate right ?
This is switch virtual interface intervlan routing protocol, without intervlan protocols the computers won't communicate or access some resources. If we want to restrict vlan communication we can use ACLs
Ive followeed this step by step but the layer 3 switch wont recognise the VLANS as neighbours, I read that turning off ip igmp snooping can resolve the issue but the switches dont recognise the command no ip igmp snooping command, any ideas?
Hi,perfect lab,i would like to ask the links between the L3 switch and the access switches are they in spanning tree mode (forward and blocked)???,if blocked how hsrp and spanning tree interact
Hi, have you configured a ASA firewalls as active and standby just like this ? if so can you show me the link please ? . i dont mean a single ASA firewall configuration. i want to study 2 ASAs in a LAN .thanks
Sir, I am still testing this lab with your tutorial. and i set a different highest priority number 250 . and just notice that when i reload the switch , the priority number goes to 100 automatically. why is that ? it never stay what we enter as priority number. what could be the reason ?
I figure that out. configure ' stand by group number and preempt ' command then it will stay unchanged on reload.@@gurutechnetworks stand by 10 preempt

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you're learning
Muchas Gracias, mejore mis conocimientos sobre HSRP gracias a este LAB. Thanks for the Lab and topoly for learning.
Thanks for your feedback
Nice explanation 🙌 GURU
Glad you liked it
God blessing you more sir❤🎉
Thanks for the feedback
thank you preempriton and track command is left I think.
Thanks for the positive feedback
Hi sir, thanks for new lab. please make big labs and please include all protocols
Cheers 🥂
Thank you, I learnt a lot

Ensure that you carry out correct ipv6 addressing scheme
@@gurutechnetworks Can you make a video? There's nothing on RUclips showing how to do it from scratch and working.
Would the same process work if for example, I turn this topology into 1 cluster, and I have another cluster with a similar topology, and the ISP is connected to both clusters?
I don't understand what you mean 1 cluster on this topology

I recommend you watch the video again for better understanding, everything is working, maybe you missed a step
for internet access we have to do NAT + static/default route from lan & isp ?
This video was for HSRP
Very nice bro. Could you did not talk about the preempt and track interface command. By the way thank you for the review.
Thanks for the feedback, I will include this in the next videos

Hi,perfect lab,i would like to ask the links between the L3 switch and the access switches are they in spanning tree mode (forward and blocked)???,if blocked how hsrp and spanning tree interact
Cheers 🥂,
I believe when the ports are blocked, there are no communication, so hsrp won't be established BTW the two l3sw
so how hsrp and stp protocols are interacting in L3 switch???do u have any article on this??
Why you make into vlan 10 shut in the end?
For testing purposes
hi, can you configure etherchannel between 2 core switches ? does this work with hsrp ?
Yes, it works

Sir if MLSW 1 is down , all vlan traffic will travel through MLSW2 ? is that correct ?
Correct friend, hsrp is interesting
