Beautiful car! Running with the multi-million-dollar cars like a champ! Probably the most practical exotic car to own.. Relatively easy and cheap to maintain, and very good looks!
Both the Pantera and the NASCAR winning 351 Cleveland engine were about 30 or 40 more years ahead of their time. They caught dynamite in a bottle. The chassis and frame are race proven at over 200mph. The 351 C can rev at 12000 rpm all day long for NASCAR racing, or it can be cammed for street racing etc., and it has a smoooooth power curve that feels like it produces power forever. And the sound.......
Fantastic! This is one of the best on-board race action videos I've seen. The fact that it was in a car that you could actually build from a street-legal car gives me chills; to say nothing about the beating purpose-built race cars...
An exitingly beautiful car, though I have not often seen it on tracks in their time. Yet, I know some were even raced in the Targa Florio. Really a dream of my youthy youth 🌷:). I remember exactly the sights and (ringing) sound of one particular car rolling onto the Autobahn.
Great video, beautifully done and great car! I am impressed how well the car handles-- he is on trailing throttle half way through those fast sweepers and the car is rock steady.
Boa noite !!!!! Cara, que Máquina fantástica. Gostei muito do vídeo. O ronco do motor é de arrepiar..... Obrigado pelo vídeo e parabéns pelo canal. Abraço do Brasil.
Wunderbares Video.
Awesome performance of the car and driver as well ! Really tough engine, keeping up with the Lola T70 when opening out of slow corners.I just would like to know at what speed did Erlich get into the Eau Rouge: I hear him downshifting in the middle of the esses.
Boa noite meu Amigo. Abraço do Brasil.....
Powered by 'Murican late 60's technology courtesy of the Ford 351 Cleveland V-8 Is he keeping up with the prototypes cuz they are limited to three liters?
By the way, it's hard (for me) to determine because of the Ford Racing valve covers, but is that the original Cleveland - in its high compression, closed combustion chamber configuration?
IM surprised how the pantera is out powering and out cornering cars you would think are lighter and just as powerful or more. reminds me of my Pantera....
I was disappointed that he lifted through El rouge. Perhaps the car didn't have quite enough downforce. That is no normal Pantera - the bodywork at the rear is widened. Very slippery car through the air!

Michael Ehrlich is a Monster!
Great vid!! Wow, that Pantera is DIALED and being driven with great skill. Love it.
I love this, the panteras were made in 1970 to 1974... and a few after that... The car was so far ahead of its time...
I'm going to bring you back to this race my friend😈 enjoy!

One of my favorite Pantera vids, car sounds like B52, love it
Boa noite.
Rsrsrsrs........ é realmente de arrepiar.
Abraço do Brasil.
Beautiful and great sounding car.
I was impressed with the speed of that car, was great to see it on track!
2:01 - that is so friggin' cool! you can see the turbulence wake behind the car as it's coming down the straight...pretty awesome.
Great video, beautifully done and great car!

Great car and to keep relatively close to that T70 is amazing.
Woowee, that's a mean ass Pantera, respect.
And that is how it's done!!!
Hanging right in there with the T-70 at the end.

What a race that is. So many lovely cars.
Looks like a well-sorted Pantera this one, and well driven as well...!

Pantera is the BEST!!
Damn, that's one fcukiñg fast Pantera. I never thought it could pull on a Lola T70?

Fantastic hot lap!

Love seeing a Pantera take on Eau Rouge.
Top Video. Bravo!
Nice Racing, thank you!
Great video !! Thxs !!!
going to need a new windshield soon! wonder if it was from a collision or just high stress on the body.
H is hanging with some really fast, lightweight cars too.
I...........I think I need a cigarette!!! :-)
I just smoked half a pack, pheeeeew that was some great sex
Nice run
What do you call the tubes sticking out where you would typically find the carburetor
Those are the inlet stacks on the four Weber carburetors.
By the way, it's hard (for me) to determine because of the Ford Racing valve covers, but is that the original Cleveland - in its high compression, closed combustion chamber configuration?
They're iron heads. And almost certainly 4V closed chamber.

nice job . that was a pretty heavy car!
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!
See? This is what happens when Americans and Europeans work together! 😍
Wow that V8 sound of this Pantera is pure music! But I would prefer only onboard movies because to enjoy the sound better 😍

This is a great video, even if I am biased :)
