Another great video!
Nice man thanks from the netherlands
Hey, Chris...I like this video. I appreciate you going through the gear selection. it's always good to hear how others are approaching what is really the same needs and concerns we all have. One commentary/suggestion about your kit. You mentioned the back pack is small, but, i'd ask if it's too small for you. the way the straps pulled so wide across your chest, and around your arms, I'd be concerned that any weight in the pack might cause numbness in the arms. I prefer packs w/sternum straps (don't leave home w/out one!), and would suggest a mod to your pack to put a sternum strap on it, to prevent that circulation issue. From your comment, I gather you have a larger pack as well, so take this with a grain of salt. That pack, lightly loaded is probably fine for day hikes. At least it has the waist belt, so you can lift the load that way. Like you, I'm fond of the Condor line; I have a bushlore for my main tool. The Bowie is too large for me to feel comfortable with. But, has serious chops for hacking. I'm going to get a cloudburst for my next tool. Thanks for sharing what you doing. All the best. Stay well. (Subscribed!)
If you still monitor this video ~
I'm interested in the fire starter you showed please,
Thanks good luck with your channel.
Hey, thanks so much for watching. That is the uberleben hexa fire steel, the 1/2 inch by 6 inch model. Cheers my friend
Moved to the city?
Eeww.
My wife would likely bury me in a ditch if I tried that, not that I would anyway. Between work and the rain I haven't been able to hit the woods myself yet this year but it will happen.
Yeah, I miss living out in the woods but my wife wanted to be closer to family and we wanted to be closer to doctors for our little boy we had last year, I'm trying to get back out in the country haha. Thx so much for watching and commenting, cheers my friend.
Knife dandee movie
