Absolutely astounding! I put this video on loop more than once. Will we soon get another Aubree performance?
Such an exquisite performance! Thanks VideoClassica for bringing us this!
Beautiful colors in her sound, and in the camera work as well!
Absolutely breathtaking! What a beautiful venue to display a world-class talent!
Les interprètes sont ce qu ils sont, mais ne pas oublier le compositeur :j ai déjà dit ailleurs que lorsque c est très beau et que ce n est pas de Mozart,c est de Haydn.
Encore un magnifique exemple
The double-stopping after 19:29 is absolutely flawless. Bravissima.
An uplifting performance. Congratulations!
get her a cd contact hope to see more in the furture thank
Einfach die Augen schließen und losfliegen!!! Fantastisch ❤❤❤
Love this so much! Would love to see Aubree performing Barber and Tchaikovsky
This is my favorite. I never really listened much to Hayden but I'm definitely going to now!! Excellent Aubree❤
Haydn wrote four violin concertos in the late 1750’s into the 1760’s; all are early works and one is lost leaving three today.
The C major (Hob. VIIa:1) in my opinion is by far the best of the violin concertos which generally speaking are much less successful and forward-looking than any of his contemporary symphonies.
A significant number of Haydn’s early concertos for a range of instruments have been lost, indeed the highest number of casualties in his entire oeuvre.
Whilst all Haydn’s concertos are attractive enough pieces and make lovely listening, they are always highly competent and idiomatic to the instrument concerned, and professionally composed (even though mostly early works).
However, only a small number of Haydn’s concertos are really memorable.
Besides this C major violin concerto, in terms of further investigation of the lesser-known early works, I would suggest as starters:
Cello concerto in C Hob. VIIb:1
Horn concerto in D Hob. VIId:3
Piano concerto in G Hob. XVIII:4
In addition, there are the better known later concerti for keyboard in D (with the famous Rondo all’Ungarese), cello in D, and trumpet in E flat - the latter being particularly fine and a great concerto by the standards of any composer of any time (not something that can be said of many of the others).
To this list should be added the late Sinfonia concertante written in London - a sort of hybrid symphony/concerto.
I. Allegro moderato 0:36
II. Adagio 11:18
III. Finale : Presto 16:43
Le jeu de Miss Oliverson est fluide et généreux. Voici une soliste américaine que je ne connaissais pas encore.
Bravo et merci ! ! ❤ ❤ ❤
Good to have you in Pasadena Sunday.
