    Glad you mentioned fuel system is the #1 thing. People want turbos and intakes etc but don’t want to spend money on fuel mods which is too important. Without the fuel you have nothing

    • @DArias
      @DArias  Год назад +1

      Whenever anyone asks my setup first thing I mention is my fuel system. You can buy any turbo the into world and if you’re running a stock fuel system you’re screwed. Yes you’re gonna spend more than $2k on a fuel system and possibly another $1k on installs if you can’t do the labor yourself but it needs to be done. I always say. Rs3 brushless pump and mpi kit of your choice and send it

    Love how you tell the people what you run but then give the other options to see what fits their needs best. That’s the way it should be give everyone options and choices

    • @DArias
      @DArias  Год назад +1

      Giving people options is the smartest thing to do. Maybe my setup isn’t someone else’s cup of tea so I rather mention the top companies and have the person purchasing do their own research to run the proper setup for themselves

    I have 120k on my a3 stage 3 tune dsg stage 1 tune is38 turbo cts downpipe aftermarket intercooler s7 plugs dogbone couple other things but I feel like I should be making more power I make around 350 but tuner says he wants to keep it low power for high mileage what u think

    • @DArias
      @DArias  Год назад +1

      Who is your tuner? Mileage and maintenance history is key with these as well. Now if you’re tuning 93 on your is38 350 is pretty normal power so no issue there. With e85 you should be around the 400whp mark. Now if you’re at 350whp on e85 that does seem a bit conservative. You could tell your tuner to turn it up but you’ll be liable if something happens. As long as they keep torque safe you shouldn’t have problems

    Hey Diego I just bought a 2017 s3 I think it’s the same as yours maybe a year older and my budget isn’t really too much of an issue I plan on owning this car for a very long time but because I think we have the same car would it be too much for you to give me like a full list of the mods you’ve done on yours? I would be very thankful if you could do so, I know you said what options you went with in the video but a full list would be absolutely amazing thank you!

      @@DArias fitting a larger compressor wheel, a larger turbine wheel and new ball bearing core, so they can utilise the stock housing and the internals will allow for more air flow. I’m not 100% on that or just go the same route you have with the vortex XL.

      @DArias  Год назад +1

      If they’re a reputable company and the work to convert your stock turbo into a hybrid is cheaper than just going and buying one from another company then it’s not a bad idea! EQT is one of the best on the market so you know the xl will be reliable and put in work!

      @@DArias yeah they are, they have done my stage 2 and Intercooler and have done a great job, (little bit different for parts here in Australia!) The issue is that you’ll eventually want more power. I had the chance to own a S3; from stock to stage 2, moved to a RS3, and drove a buddies hybrid turbo RS3 (car on my channel). Trust me I got bored of my car already after driving buddies 709hp RS3.

    • @DArias
      @DArias  Год назад +1

      You’re absolutely right about that. It gets to a point where you’re never content with the power and high horsepower cars feel slow lol. I mean for me now it was the best option for me. I feel eventually hopefully sooner rather than later I’ll end up in a ttrs

    Why not just get rs3 at that point

    • @DArias
      @DArias  Год назад +2

      Rs3 is a 60k plus car after taxes fees etc. I’m into my s3 rn after purchasing and every mod and tune (which I’ve bought many different things and switched set ups etc) maybe around $42k all in big price difference. Plus a payment on the rs3 would be close to double a month. So I view it is all in on e85 I’ll make similar power to a tuned rs3 anyways and save money a month. Plus if I blow up my s3 an engine is max $4k-$5k with low miles. Rs3 engine I’m looking at $15k-$20k so there’s a few reasons on my thought process
