I flied p92 that's so similar except the glass cockpit, p2008 is an ultralight and if you are coming from a light plane in p2008 right footh as must be done hard, any time you're accelerating
The P2008JC in this video is not actually an ultralight, it is a normal category certified aircraft. But, it is a light aircraft and the power to weight ratio is better than many legacy aircraft of a similar size. So it is a little bit different, but very nice to fly.
Thanks for asking. I think what I meant was that there is a somewhat limited visibility in certain directions given that it is a relatively small aircraft and high wing. It probably isn't worse than a C152 though.
It depends on your experience level as well, but 1-2 hours should be enough for most. It's a very easy aircraft to operate and it doesn't have any handling quirks.
Three benefits of a three blade propeller: 1. It can handle more power than a two blade prop with similar blades. 2. The diameter is (usually) smaller than a two bladed propeller handling the same power so it generates less noise. 3. The smaller diameter provides better ground clearance for operations on rough fields. Negatives: 1. Cost can be (and usually is) higher. 2. Not as efficient.
No that’s not it. As a new pilot I understand that most accidents happen during landing & take-offs. I read General Aviation News and at the end of the news letter is a recent NTSB report published as an educational tool, it is intended to help pilots learn from the misfortunes of others. I read about accidents happening by not paying attention while taxing, hitting a sign or another aircraft while doing something like entering a squawk, changing frequency, setting instruments. I also read about a fatal accident when a door became ajar right after taking off and a loss of control trying to secure it. I just think opening vents so soon after taking off is not applying 100% concentration and should be done after reaching a higher altitude…..but what the hell do I know….Just my stupid opinion.
Nothing stupid about your opinion Ronny, just interested to know what triggered your thought. I agree that one should keep one's attention on the flying during critical phases of flight. Thank you for the comment and fly safe!
Hello! I'm a low hour PPL thinking about getting more hours in this plane before the ATPL ground school and the Tecnam P2008JC is the cheapest option at my school. I got my PPL on a Cessna 172S and I sincerely don't know what to think about this plane. The management at my school is eager to sell their services while the flight instructors are a bit reserved, but that might be because they've been flying Cessnas the last 20 years or so. Do you think this is a good and safe plane in which I can improve my skills? Thank you very much!
Hi and thank you for asking! I'm not a huge fan of the plain C172 so given a choice I would take the Tecnam every time, but that's just me. The Tecnam is lighter and more "spirited" than the 172 and in my view is more fun to actually fly. I think you'll enjoy it and I'm sure you'll learn from the experience. Have fun!
@@kristertv7594 Thanks, appreciate that as I'm in a similar situation. This seems a lot like a C172 but...more modern and fun to fly. Would that be a fair statement?
Hello. It is a much smaller aircraft than the C172 and more like the C150/152. But, yes, it is certainly more modern and in my view a lot more fun to fly!
I really liked the Panel arrangement and choice of avionics
The panel works well with this configuration. The new MkII version is probably even better.
She's a beauty!
I really enjoyed watching this!
nice share capt,, on Tuesday 12 Aug 15 i will conduct the flight test of P2008 in capua, as FTE for Indonesian certification
Andreas Pallo Thank you Andreas! It would be very interesting to read your comments after the test. Kind regards, Krister
Looked like a lot vibrating in cabin. Have autopilot? How much 'foot work' you having to do?

Great! One question: at 3:18 you say: visibility is impared. what do you mean by that?
Thanks for asking. I think what I meant was that there is a somewhat limited visibility in certain directions given that it is a relatively small aircraft and high wing. It probably isn't worse than a C152 though.
Hi
How long would you say does it take to get familiarised with the Tecnam P2008, when coming from a P28A and DR40? 1 to 2h?
It depends on your experience level as well, but 1-2 hours should be enough for most. It's a very easy aircraft to operate and it doesn't have any handling quirks.
@@kristertv7594 Thanks for your prompt reply!
thanks for sharing. And no music was a good change
I agree, no music great job. Only gripe is that I wish I could see the instruments on this good looking panel.
Kul att se att det finns Svenska youtube piloter :P Håller själv på med mitt LAPL.
Kul, lycka till med certifikatet!
Curious, is there an advantage of a Prop with Two blades vs Three?

Tack för ditt svar. Jag känner Ramtin mycket väl. Han är dessutom min landsman! :)
Did the pilot take his hands off the controls to open both air vents while taking off?
"The pilot" shifted hands if you look closely. Perhaps you're worried that I didn't keep my hand on the throttle through the climb?
No that’s not it.
