Man, please, just can't take it; I've always referred to him as the human effects box, this is a freakin Master class on soul/Gospel/funk singing -every growl, every sneering sound, crazy plastic sounding riffs, awesome wonderful falsettos, deep growly chest voice (right when the band comes back in right at the end) , every damn vocal trick in the book, and he wrote it, other people sing soul and funk and church, but Mr Green combines them all and serves up something no other vocalist in history has. Unbelievable. Glad I was alive top hear this man. Thanks for posting this

When our son was three he needed open heart surgery. I would play this song, holding him tightly to my chest, dancing to this song. Prayed to God for a successful surgery. All turned out well and I'm proud of the strong young man he became.
