Based on what I understand of the American Founding Fathers, most (if not all) of them were not Christians. So, they could still have believed in objective morality and in some kind of Deism to ground their concept of the rights to "private property" and "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," but I think it's deeply suspect to claim or imply that the Creator in the USA Constitution is identical with the God of the Christian Bible, though I've had a friend try (quite badly and unconvincingly). I heard a decent interview of Dr. Gregg L. Frazer who did some research into the private writings of the American Founders. He wrote his findings and his conclusions in a book entitled The Religious Beliefs of America’s Founders if you'd like to learn more about that. Jefferson, at the very least, the man who penned the Declaration of Independence quoted in this video, did not believe in any miracles. That would rule out key Christian doctrines of the Incarnation, the Resurrection, and the Ascension of Jesus, among other things. And it would be ridiculous to call oneself a Christian if one doesn't believe such things actually happened. Otherwise, I agree with Frank. Without ethics being grounded in a transcendent moral law giver like God, any claims to human rights are merely an ephemeral extension of posited law based on personal preferences only, an expression of political power than could be overturned by the next regime or a change in the current law codes that otherwise would secure them.

Every single soul under the sun has descended from God in one way or another. At the very inmost roots of our being, everyone is united in ONENESS.
Therefore, where do the differences lie?
They arise out of the development of species, genetics, conditioning, traditional teachings, customs and educational and family habits of relating with others-and the differences in thought patterns.
We can rest assured that people will only transcend their sense of differences when their mental/emotional thought patterns are in sympathy, and when their VALUES by which they choose to live throughout their day, are the same. Until that time comes, it is useless for people to be angry with one another for experiencing differences. They are endemic to the human condition.
MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL:
Choose the highest standards on offer in the world, work to embrace and use them-and then all differences will take on a new and inner beauty which no one will be able to resist. All people will then willingly bond in perfect harmony.
Rights are entitlements absent duties. Rights are meaningless without enforcement. Some may say government gives us our rights, but without enforcement, our government can write as many laws as they want, and it means nothing. The enforcement mechanism must fall under the hands of those who have more capability of enforcement, ie. physical force, violence, etc. Only men have the capability of enforcement. If enough numbers of men decided that some certain groups of people have no rights and they can enforce it, then tomorrow that group of people have no rights unless they fight back for those rights, and it has happened multiple times throughout the course of human history. This "inalienable rights" that is God given is a new assertion and is only meaningful if good men can enforce it. I cannot fully agree when Frank said that rights cannot exist without God, absolutely there are rights that have been written that even God does not like. If he means natural rights like right to breathe, right to eat, drink etc. then yes, you can say that God has given them. But I would rephrase his statement "rights cannot exist without God" to "good cannot exist without God". Evil exists because of the absence of God for God is not the author of evil and immoral rights exists because of the free will of men to reject God.

Trans people aren't a new phenomenon. Magnus Hirschfeld studied them and coined the term transvestite to describe them. He even advocated surgery for those who wished it. Sadly, God fearing men burned his library and research and sent his researchers camping.

It's more whether or not people come into _agreement_ with the rights God gave us & choose to acknowledge or abuse them.

If a government enforces slavery, what's the difference between a slave with the God-given right to freedom, and a slave without that God-given right? There is no difference. Government cannot define your God given rights. You have no idea what you are talking about because you don't know God. You have a God given right to defend yourself. Are you going to call a neighbor or the government to see if you have the right to defend yourself against assault with deadly intent or sit around waiting for clarification while they proceed to murder you? If you believe in the story of Adam and Eve, then God took Adam's rib to make Eve.
Adam was fully grown, so Adam's rib has _male_ DNA. If you start with male DNA and create a woman, you are changing the gender. _So, God made Eve a transgender woman_ .
So, one has to conclude that God is okay with transgender people. It may even be desirable since God was looking to create a "suitable" "helper" for Adam. And, God would never create a transgender woman if transgender people are not okay. Why would God do something "evil" that he didn't want people to do? God sets the example for people to follow.
_Living by example is stronger than living by implication or analogy_ . So, vague references to other sins in the Bible don't really prove that being transgender is a sin. References to marriage (e.g. between a man and a woman), do not invalidate this point.
God set the example in creating Eve as a transgender woman. Again, this means that transgender people are okay. And. God wants people to be okay with transgender people.
God used HUMAN dna to create a HUMAN female. Regardless of where the dna came from, it is still human. "Male and female he created them to be" means exactly that. That's what the Bible says. Don't twist things to fit your narrative. Your logic is extremely delusional.

"Rights" are a useful concept, similar to "justice". It takes people to formulate and instantiate them. If some god should exist, it just watches what we do that way, and apparently, will judge some of us harshly for failing to do so correctly in It's eyes.
