Some one was just saying today they just lowered their deck and plowed the leaves. Was thinking of doing the same until hearing how you can catch on fire. Thanks
My setup is a Little Wonder 13 horse blower, a couple of Redmax 8500 backpack blowers and the new Echo 8010 backpack blower. We move them towards the wood lot or to the curb to vac them up. . Once we hit the not moving leaf wall with the blowers, we bust out the JRCO leaf plow and start pushing. I’ve had the leaf plow for 10+ leaf seasons. It’s the best money I’ve ever spent for fall cleanups. I can’t imagine a leaf season without it !!!
Leaf plow is the way to go even on medium to big residential . Mine got Bent up in one season but dealer will unbend and I'll do again next year priceless. I'm able to combine three curbs piles into one in minutes
I have a JRCO dethatcher set up so I already have the mount but damn! pretty expensive for what they are, plus look how far it sticks out which would limit our 20ft trailer as to what we can put in it. It would save a ton of steps and a lot of fatigue at the end of the day but going to try mounting my back pack on the z turn and see how that goes this year.
I caught my mower on fire during one of my cleanups 2 years ago. Luckily I knew to keep a fire extinguisher on me during leaf cleanup. I usually keep one mounted in the bed of my pickup just in case. But when it comes to Leafs I always keep one within arms reach. Especially cause Kansas is way too damn dry most of the time.
I like these ideas I'm still thinking about buying the walk behind leaf blower or sucker combo unit I'm still tossing it around I only have a few properties that I remove leaves but as I grow I think it will still be a time saver
Great review! I was thinking about adding these at some point because they look like a great way to improve clean ups especially the plow. I have a 13hp billy goat so that blower buggy looks like a winner as well
Nicholas Shiplett They sure are man! Like I said they are to much for small residential but if you have some larger properties it is worth every penny.
I totally need both of them. I tried with the mower but im belt drive it pushed them pretty good. But got bunched up at the end of the push. Stuck under mower. Awesome video man
I've ran into your channel a couple times I guess based on the algorithm the RUclips uses. I know this one is older, but since you do a lot of larger properties I was wondering if you ever considered using Steiner or Ventrac tractors since they're so versatile.
Hey Jim, thanks for watching. We have not, maybe if we stayed in the maintenance side but now we are mostly doing install work. Not much maintenance anymore
Could the blower be set up to blow in the same direction the mower discharges? Then you could use the blower and the mower to blow more leaves further.
That's some cool lawn tools for leaf clean ups ! What kind of leaf vacuum set-up do you have for your truck? I seen it some on your channel ! That's really neat too! Maybe if you have time do a video on it if you can! Thanks again! Archers Lawn Service!
Archer's Lawn Service hey man thank you for the support! We have an echo DL10 Leaf loader. We did a video on it in the fall. Search Echo DL10 and it should pop up 👍🏼
Only down fall to pushing leaves with the plow into a pile is I find the leaves become packed and they are harder to suck up with the billy goat. Other than that huge plus
5 or 6 years ago we caught a brand new wright stander on fire the exact same way. I almost burned the house down. I had leaves on fire all over the front yard. Scary.
Michael Candillo Oh wow! Sorry to hear that. But that is exactly what I’m trying to warn people of. I see people pushing leaves all the time and it scares me for that exact reason 👍🏼
+Nickens Lawn & Landscape it could of been worse. We got lucky. There was no damage to the property and that mower is still running till this day with well over 1000 hours on it.
I knew there had to be a way to attach a billy goat. This a Umount thing is way over priced. Using this mount gives so much more versatility with a walk behind blower!
My uncle caught a Ferris walk behind on fire 2 years ago, pushing leaves, no plow. Burnt it to the ground.
122yamaharider That is unfortunate.. hopefully no one was hurt

Nickens, very smart! You can mow AND blow at the same time. Good cost effective alternative to those Zero turn stand on blowers.

Nickens Lawn and Landscape produces the best videos. Keep up the good work!!!!
With these two products I no longer need at least two employees!
Great video. Like that blower buggy. 🙂👍
Thank you! It worked well 👍🏼

You can unhook it pretty quick
We’re getting bigger properties, for sure we will get some of them for our mowers.
Thank you for the video.
SGP Landscaping LLC Not a problem, glad you found the video useful 👍🏼

I wish you would have spent sometime explaining how the cart attached to the mower.
Nice. Will definitely be getting these accessories in the future. Great Video Alex.
Wade Davis Thanks Wade! They are great accessories 👍🏼
Good overview man. Looking forward to getting to the point where we need these sort of set-ups.
ACME Mowing and Lawn Care Thank you Sir! Keep working hard and doing quality work and it will come 👍🏼

Great leaf romaval setup! im glad you arn't afraid to invest in your company!
Rufus LC I invest every chance I get 👍🏼

👍🏼definitely good for huge residential and commercial cleanups.
kodiak wild You got it 👌🏼
Great video great products keep them coming
Thanks Mike! Will do 👍🏼
I totally need both of them. I tried with the mower but im belt drive it pushed them pretty good. But got bunched up at the end of the push. Stuck under mower. Awesome video man
CUT RIGHT LAWN SERVICE Thanks man! If you have larger property clean ups to complete these products are for you 👍🏼
look like great products. I havent really had much need for one, but I have thought about making a leaf plow myself sometime
Hazardra Lawn Care They really are. Another guy in the comments said he built his own. If you are handy it probably wouldn’t be to hard 👍🏼
Informative!
Great system for big properties! I'm imagining putting that set up on the tiny lots we have here, would be epic overkill.

Good job
Thank you!
I called jrco the told me they have no mount bracket for a ferris 48 inch like yours. I have the same mower
Tell them it’s a 52”
Hey man great video can you please send me the link where I can buy this attachment for my push mower
Oh yes they work amazing.
Bees Landscaping They sure do! Makes things a lot easier imo 👍🏼
Could the blower be set up to blow in the same direction the mower discharges? Then you could use the blower and the mower to blow more leaves further.
It only mounts one way.
Can you give me an idea of the price tag on this? I tried going to the website but no price. Thanks
$400
I made my own leaf plow but I’m seriously thinking about getting that blower buggy but I’m sure once I see the price I’ll be fabricating that as well
Karl Williams It’s great man! Can’t remember what it cost but worth it to me. One could be built fairly easy though 👍🏼
Same thing happened to me bro I almost caught my mower on fire pushing leaves 😂
Greg's Lawn and Landscape Yeah it happens all the time, doesn’t take much.. glad it didn’t catch 👍🏼
Great equipment, good stuff!
Upscale Lawn Care Monroe Thank you Sir 👍🏼
What do you do with the leaves. Where do you dispose of?
D Cuthill I have a farmer that wants them for compost 👍🏼
Hey Thank you for this Information Video ☺️

Will do thanks!
Nice man! Your not worried about the extra weight especially from the blower attachment causing premature hydro failure?
William B No I’m not worried about that. It doesn’t weigh much at all. It a person can push it the mower should be able to 👍🏼
Only down fall to pushing leaves with the plow into a pile is I find the leaves become packed and they are harder to suck up with the billy goat. Other than that huge plus
Have had this plow for 18 years-it’s the best- before that used plywood lol- better on a rider with muffler in back
Nice setup!
AcePowdercoating Ace Thank you 😁
Curious to know if jrco ever gave you props for this video? This sold me on my plow and buggy lol
Will this year up a lawn more on a wet fall day

Great tips and ideas!!
Truan Nguyen Thank you Sir
What are your thoughts about DR Leaf Vac ?
Like that a lot 👍👍😎
NIPP in garden Service it really is awesome 😎
Did you ever try using a Bagger Vac on one of your mowers ?
Way to small and cause shit tons of dust
Last year caught a bobcat Walkbehind on fire not bad...
Ryan McKinney yeah it happens all the time.. hopefully you were ok 👍🏼
Yep.. fine
Yep.. fine
I bet you carry a fire extinguisher in the trailer now
WillsLawnService Always 👌🏼
i like the blower buggy
Lawn Commander it’s great! 👍🏼
Just take a back pack blower remove the straps and mount it between the two front casters.
Have you seen the jrco hooker aerators? I would love to see a review on one
Where did you order these ?
Jacob Crider they have local dealers. Search on their website 👍🏼
what r the prices on them??
Landeros Reid Can’t remember off the top of my head. You will have to check with your local dealer
Love the JRCO too bad I can't use on my ferris
A&S Lawnscapes why is that??
Nickens Lawn & Landscape because of the independent front suspension
A&S Lawnscapes ahhh a zero turn...
I knew there had to be a way to attach a billy goat. This a
Umount thing is way over priced. Using this mount gives so much more versatility with a walk behind blower!
JRC bends very easy. Don't use around any roots
Yeah it’s not meant for much abuse. They try to keep them light so they aren’t weighing down machines but sometimes they just aren’t strong enough
@@nickenslandscapingexcavating I think they intentionally make them weak to keep costs down and sell replacement parts
The hardware used to attach the buggy to the mower is very generic and cheezy.
Will Robinson it is generic but I think that was their intention to make is easily removable
Nickens Lawn & Landscape Im all for easy removal as long as it doesnt come loose in the meantime. Has it worked its way loose on you?
Will Robinson yeah I hear ya, so far so good with this one. Nothing has come loose 👍🏼
Can’t you just use your zero turn to blow the leaves ??
Doesn't leave much behind? I hope you're joking
